Since some people are struggeling on how to use this, here is a quick guide:
Step 1: make sure your graphics card has at least 8GB VRAM and install stable diffusion (its free, a guide on how to can be found here: https://stable-diffusion-art.com/install-windows/
Do not proceed past this step until you have generated you first image of a cat (mainly because I like cats) in stable diffusion. Read the instructions in the the linked page carefully.
Download Dreamshaper from https://civitai.com/models/4384/dreamshaper Put the dreamshaper file into WhereverYouInstalledStableDiffsionInto\stable-diffusion-webui\models\Stable-diffusion (usually C:\users\yourUsername\)
Download this mod. Put the Safetensors file of this mod into WhereverYouInstalledStableDiffsionInto\stable-diffusion-webui\models\Lora If the Lora folder does not exist, create it.
Check if everything got installed correctly by opening the webui of stable diffusion (or reloading it) and: Changing the checkpoint in the Stable diffusion Web UI to Dreamshaper (upper left corner)
If not, read the instructions again, and retry.
If it shows up, go here: https://civitai.com/models/114265/baldurs-gate-3-action-icons-lora Click on the green picture, and copy all parameters under "prompt" "negative prompt" and "metadata" into the corresponding fields of your stable diffusion webui at txt2img tab.
Click generate. The icons generated will probably not look like the one in the picture, but the art direction should be clear. Play around with that stuff for a while until you have a rough idea of what is going on.
Use "color to alpha" in Gimp/whatever to get rid of the green background. If you want to use the Icons for your mod, refer to these guides on how to get them right (unless you are using the bg 3 modding tool, in which case youll have to google yourself because the process is probably a bit different. The best place to start your search is probably the larian discord). https://wiki.bg3.community/Tutorials/Icons/Icon-Creation https://discord.com/channels/98922182746329088/1161812332721209354
Any tips on dealing with the green background? I have no issue getting rid of it normally, but the AI tends to darken up the edges around the main icon which leaves some dark green shadows that I can't deal with using my limited photoshop experience.
This is amazing, thanks so much for putting it together! I've been able to generate some icons, and they take a long time to complete. If relevant: Intel i7 with RX 6700 XT and 32 GB RAM. My understanding is that A.I. image generation is just resource-intensive by its nature and I'm not too familiar with it. Does anyone know if it's normal for this kind of generation to take upwards of 7 - 10 minutes?
Also, are there any other recommended settings with in Stable Diffusion specifically for this? I'm using the settings referenced on civitai.com for the various icon examples, but was just curious if there any other recommendations.
[EDIT] Oop... lol. Apparently the speed is due to my GPU.
hi, I'm creating a mod for Dragon Age Origins, where I change the icons of the characters' skills, I intended to use the original icons from Baldur's Gate 3, however some skills require icons that don't exist in Baldur's Gate 3. Could you please help me create some icons? there are very few left. thanks.
Get the WebUI setup. Download Dreamshaper, put it in Models>Stable-Diffusion.
Go to the extensions tab within the webUI. Install this https://github.com/kohya-ss/sd-webui-additional-networks (Instructions on github page)
Place the .safetensor you download from here (OR any lora network you download in general) in Models->Lora. If the folder doesn't exist, make it yourself.
Reload webUI console and webpage. Go to the additional networks tab in the "Settings" tab
Paste the path to the Lora folder in the "extra paths" box. Should be something like C*\stable-diffusion-webui\models\Lora with the asterisk being wherever the stable diffusion folder is.
In the prompt box put "<lora:filename:weight>" before any prompt, where filename is the filename and weight is how strong you want it to be.
I use <lora:bg3_actions_offset:1> and then just type your prompt and whatever negative prompts you wanna add to fine tune it.
You could also just use the little dropdown box below the prompt that say's "additional networks", select your file, and use the slider to determine the strength. Might need to click the refresh button on the "Additional Networks" tab to get anything new to show up. When in doubt, restart the console and refresh.
If you're having trouble with prompts, this file is hosted on CivitAI where the author has what he used for prompts, seeds, and settings for each image. https://civitai.com/models/114265/baldurs-gate-3-action-icons-lora

Or a link to one. Do we put the LoRA model in the Checkpoints folder and go from there?
Stable Diffusion WebUI has me select a single checkpoint at a time, but it has the checkpoint merger feature, am I supposed to merge these?
