In some campaign settings elves are taller than humans, but in Forgotten Realms they are noticeably shorter. Drow are even shorter than surface elves with the females, who are usually a head taller than males, rarely ever being taller than 5'7.
Just came across this and sounded fun to use but is it abandoned/not functional anymore? I see a lot of future update statements from back in December but that was the last update. Does this only apply to the pc now and not everyone with that race in the game?
It stopped working for me and I haven't even updated since patch 5. It was working not long ago. Really sad, 'cause this added a lot to my immersion, playing a drow.
Well i got this because it always kinda bugged me how Lae Zel is alot more physically stronger and more durable than shadowheart despite her looking the exact same size-wize, but i couldnt find a "bigger lae-zel or bigger githyanki" but i found this, instead of making Lae zel bigger, i made shadowheart smaller by just getting smaller half elf and it still works for me even now, i even have that shadowheart EA face model change mod, but not sure if that changes anything.
Thank you very much! With the 5% smaller mod, my drow look to be about the correct size. I wish the weapons would scale, though, and that the body size difference would work in cutscenes.... But I rather expect that is a ton of work. What you've offered at this point is great!
Is it possible to enable the mod in cutscenes with some modification of the "HiddenDuringCinematic" boost?
This is data from the "Everburn Blade" which has a line that hides it in cutscenes, as seen below: data "DefaultBoosts" "HiddenDuringCinematic();WeaponProperty(Magical)"
Great mod. Drow are smaller in DnD and it always bothered me that they aren't in this game. Now I only wish there was an easy fix for all elves having human faces. But there probably isn't what with all the faces for all the NPCs
I was so worried when these left! this is amazing! I was wondering if you would consider, or if it was even possible to consider, a version that only works on the Player!
this was my main thing. I ADORE Karlach being huge and tall and big and gorgeous and perfect but i play as a self insert and my tiny self is like 5 foot lol
For anyone who wants to do this on your own All you need to do is unpack this mod using the BG3 Multitool, open the text file, and add these two lines:
data "Conditions" "Player()" data "BoostConditions" "Player()" Repack it, and then enjoy your fun-sized Tav. Bonus tip, if you want to make them bigger instead of smaller, change the "ScaleMultiplier()" to a value above 1. For example, changing it from 0.95 to 1.05 substantially increases their height. I wouldn't recommend going much higher than that though, 1.05 is already pretty massive.
