I have downloaded this using bg3 mod manager, I started a new game, but it isn't in the tutorial chest. I tried loading a game to see if arron has it and no luck there either. What am I doing wrong?
I just want to say, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for taking the time to make your outfits compatible with smaller races! My halfling isn't able to wear a lot of the outfits/armors I've downloaded from other mod authors... at least with your outfits, she can still look fabulous!
I'm sure adding that compatibility wasn't easy, so I appreciate that you took the extra time and effort to do so. I've also endorsed every outfit mod I've downloaded from you. Again, thank you 😊❤️
Hi I've tested this with patch 7. The mod itself works fine, but like many custom outfits the physics have been broken by the patch meaning it looks kind of weird in game. I know other mod authors have managed to fix the issue but I know nothing about game physics so have no idea how much work it is. Anyway hope that helps.
thanks for the info that's good to know! i think i've found a way to re-add physics in patch 7 ( and if it's correct then it's very easy and i should be able to update all my outfit mods ) but i can't tell for sure since i can't test it since i'm still on patch 6 (the mod seems to be unaffected by the new lines of codes in patch 6 ), so if you or anyone else is feeling like testing the new version i'd welcome it 😅
I'll only update the rest once i'm 100 % sure the fix i made for this one works, no point in loading and editing all the other mods if it's for nothing
Hello again. I haven't tested it extensively but ran around and did a few twirls etc and can confirm it seems to work fine now. Amazing how quickly you worked that out. Thanks for all your work on these mods and for still supporting them :)
Is there a specific place in the load order that this works best in? I've got it installed but it will not show up in the tutorial summoning chest or at Arron's shop in the grove.
Figured it out!
With that in mind, here's a review - this is a lovely mod!
I'd say read the description closely, because your mileage may vary with using it in your game. There are a few slight instances of some clipping (usually at the hips for certain poses), and the long-rest cut-scene can cause some clipping out of the legs (showing only the shoes, no legs at all), but otherwise this dress works beautifully as you are running around kicking butt as well as smooching your sweetie in camp. These aren't deal breakers for me, but if you need 1000% perfection from a clothing mod this one may not be for you. That said, it works on most of the fem bodies just fine, including gnomes which is very exciting because finding mods that work for my gnome can be hard.
For load order, I finally fixed mine by putting the Tutorial Chest Summoning at the very top of my load order and the astromancer robes at the very end. This allows the dress to at least show up in the Tutorial Chest, though Arron seems to still have issues getting it into stock. If your current playthrough is post-Certain Event In Act II, you'll have to get the Tutorial Chest mod (if you don't already have it) to get the robes. Otherwise, perhaps early enough in a playthrough (perhaps with fewer mods.....this may be a 'me' issue), you'll hopefully be able to buy it from Arron in the Grove.
Didn't work. But that's probably because the BG3 mod fixer is actually a game breaker and bricked my game. I hope you can update this mod so it no longer requires that buggy mess.
