All Wildheart rages now give bonus damage to off-hand melee weapon attacks as intended. Wildheart rages should now also deal the improved damage past Level 9
took them a casual 1.25 years but yeah, i guess they finally managed to do it :D They had over a year to just open my mod, copy paste the lines and be done with it xD
throwing weapons are fixed to just always being +2. That's the same way for all barbarian rages and intentional. I could have made it scale the same way for throwing as melee, but that wouldn't have been a bug fix but rather a mod (since it strays from what the developers wanted to implement), and would have taken far more work. I would have also had to include it for the other rage types from other subclasses.
All Wildheart barbarians will now correctly receive resistance to Falling damage while Enraged. Bear Wildheart barbarians will now correctly deal Rage bonus damage on unarmed attacks (like all other barbarians).
I guess this mod isn't needed for patch 6 and beyond players?Although the patch 6 notes don't mention fixing the scaling at lvl 9, so maybe it still is needed?
I looked at the entries for Patch 6: They added the unarmed damage (with proper scaling!) but in the same line, right next to it, left the weapon damage unchanged.
the thing is, rage gives fall damage reduction already at level 1. It makes no sense for the wild heart barb to suddenly lose fall damage reduction at level 3, just to having to spend a subclass feature to get it again. My "fear" is that when larian designed the chimpanzee thing they actively forgot that rage already gives fall damage reduction.
So yeah, only choose chimpanzee if you like throwing camp supplies to blind your enemies i guess xD it would probably be a nice idea to mod chimpanzee so that he can throw stuff with a bonus action, but that would make it far better than the other choices, since that means you can throw potions too.
In tabletop, Rage wouldn't apply to Finesse attacks, but Larian is lenient so base Rage applies to everything... but then they forgot that Totem gets their own rages, and they're some old left-over code that is just incomplete.

pure karlach barb with elk heart rage still getting +2 on throwing attacks
