Hey not sure if this has been reported already but I was able to get the axe using the tutorial chest in an existing playthrough, i've started a new playthrough and the axe is no longer in the tutorial chest and also not being sold by the trader in the Grove.
If you unpack the .pak file with the converter app from https://github.com/Norbyte/lslib then you can edit the properties as you want in /stats/generated/data. I reduced the main damage back to 2d6 then added: "data "DefaultBoosts" "WeaponEnchantment(3);WeaponProperty(Magical);WeaponDamage(1d6, Fire)" to give 1d6 fire instead, +3 enchant like other Legendary weapons, and 'Magical' property (though I have no idea what that last one actually does). Then you can repackage the mod into a .pak file and use it instead.
See https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Modding:Modding_resources if you want to get the hang of it. I'm no modder myself but I've picked up enough to make tweaks like that for my own use.
This axe is super cool looking. However, for body type 1 at least, the players hand clips through the upper portion of the axe where the blades are during some of the animations. When your in the prep stance for a swing, your hand is almost at the very top of the axe. If you could make body type 1 hold the axe a little higher in their hands it would probably fix most of that.
Is the axe supposed to give u infinite range on attacks ? I just realized while using it on karlach that she can attack from anywhere just anyone one the map .

I hope you'll forgive me for tweaking it locally to be a late game +3 magical weapon for Karlach.

For now Karlach will have to wait for her new toy ^^'
No more infinite range!
