Will be updating the mod with an alternate version of Vampire Powers, Shade Powers and Demi-God Powers. I have the mod about done and have already incorporated some of these into Vampire God Expanded mod. With this change there will be the original mod and this one to download and this one will be noted by Demi God Expanded on the download page.
Also, will be changing the "Hulk Rage" on this one. Will remove that as the powers of the Backgrounds of Undead, Shadow and Champion will be enough.
Was able to change what is in Red
Animate Dead (Zombie & Skeleton) - Removing the ability to cast the spell and have added that to the claw attack. Now it will work similar to a Zombie if used and can cause the infection that turns the target to a (Temp) Zombie when they die while effect still active. This only occurs if they fail a constitution check (based at 8, so not as often as the zombie claw attack) otherwise they don't get infected.
Automatic Mirror Image - A mirror image of the character (Just one) appears when in shadows and works automatically like the spell.
Advantage on Attacks in Shadows - While the character is under the effect of Darkness (in Shadows) they gain Advantage on attack rolls in addition to the Automatic Mirror Image spell effect when level 4 or higher.
Removed Shadow Step - Seems a bit too much with fly ability as well.
Removed Shadow Blade - with Level gained bonus to Claw, Bite, Weapon and Unarmed...Didn't see this as needed and was a bit overkill.
Change the Claw Attack to where is a separate effect. Animation is limited on that but does hit for what is should. This way if you are unarmed the claw attack doesn't replace Unarmed attack (more Monk Friendly now). (Only Useable once per combat to keep it more balanced)
Changing damage type for the bonus damage (Armed and Unarmed to Piercing). Necrotic is a bit too much and kills the ability to speak with the dead on NPCs slain that way.
Added the following bonus damage: Vampire Bite Damage now at (1d6+Level of Piercing and 1d6+Level of healing at the same time), Weapon and Unarmed Damage Bonus at (1+Level, Piercing), Claw Attack at (1d8+Level, Slashing with inflicting Crawling Gnaw on Constitution check fail at lower than 8 which will make the creature under this effect a zombie if they die).
All vampires have the same powers and bite now. NPC's can be turned with a bite easier.. so be careful on bites in combat or you may have a bunch of flying vampires around.
Summon Wolf (This is part of the reason I removed the Shadow Blade spell as you will have a companion). Now works for a single summon once per short rest and they go away at Long Rest (So it is possible to have up to 2 wolves but no more than that)
Level Requirements for powers to show up:
Vampire Claws - Unlocks at level 4
Speak with the Dead - Unlocks at level 2
Summon Wolf - Unlocks at level 6 (As you can potentially summon 2 at once and they are powerful)
Automatic Mirror Image in Darkness - Unlocks at level 4
You will still have the Bat form, Mist form, Fly, Performance, Carry Capacity X2, Vampire Resistances and Health regen as before. Also, still have +2 to all stats when well fed.
Demi-God Power Changes in Red: (This will replace Champion and will remove the Dungeon Delver Background)
Powers will grow by level with the character - Gaining some every 4 levels ( +2 to stats upon gaining level 4, 8, 12 so if you had 16 Strength it would go to 18 at level 4, 20 at level 8 and then 22 at level 12)
Speak with the Dead - Unlocks at level 2
Mask of Many Faces - Unlocks at level 2
Gain Advantage on Attacks - When Hit Points are at 1/2 you gain Advantage on attacks
Increase Movement by 3 - Gaining some every 4 levels (+3 movement at 4, then additional +3 at 8 and 12 for a total of +9 movement)
Increase Jump by 3 - Gaining some every 4 levels (+3 jump distance at 4, then additional +3 at 8 and 12 for a total of +9 Jump)
Lower Fall Damage - Lessens Fall damage by 1/2 at level 4, 1/4 at level 8 and then Immune to fall damage at 12.
Raise Armor Rating - 1 AC every 4 levels ( +1 at level 4 and gain +1 additionally at 8 and 12 for a total of +3 AC)
You will still have Poison and Necrotic resistances, Performance and Carry Capacity X4 as before.
Shade Powers Changes in Red: (Not impacted by +2/-2 Stats while in Camp)
While in Shadows:
Ability to summon Shadow Mastiff - Unlocks at level 4
Ability to Shadow Step - Teleport from shadowy area to shadowy area
Health Regeneration - 1hp+Level/Turn
Dark Vision 24 - See in Dark 24 range
Mask of Many Faces - Unlocks at level 2
+2 to all Stats (From Base Stat Level so for example: If base Charisma was 17 on creation of character it will be 19 in Shadows)
Additional +2 to all Stats - Unlocked at level 8 - (From Base Stat Level so for example: If base Charisma was 17 on creation of character it will be 21 in Shadows due to +2 from other bonus and +2 from this level based one)
Advantage on Attacks - Roll 2 die and take the higher for attack hit roll.
Armor Class Bonus - AC Bonus of +4
Shadow Blade - Unlocks at level 3 - Can summon and use a Shadow Blade for a weapon
While in Bright Light/Sunlight:
Summon Shadow Mastiff - Removed
Shadow Step - Removed
Health Regeneration - Removed
Dark Vision - Removed
Mask of Many Faces - Still able to be used

I was wondering if the Shadow demi-god could be slightly more god-ish, though. My super evil Shar worshipping Shadow Urge would really like to jump into the middle of crowds and cleave heads from necks, like the Champions do. Also, and this might be too unbalanced even if possible (though we don't come to Nexus for balance?), could there be a level 12 (or whenever) power where there's a darkness spell permanently cast upon the Shadow, that follows them around?
Maybe there's a happy little black cloud of teleporting spinning swords living behind that mountain...
So I installed this as per instructions, and did a quick test play to see if this and a few other mods were working, and I think it is working fine. My question is; the mod is showing up in Mod Manager as an "inactive" mod. Should I move it to the active side? As I don't fully understand all the features the mod has, I'm unsure if maybe there's features unavailable because I haven't activated the mod in MM, but I can select the backgrounds.
Basically, I don't know what I'm doing...

Hi! Awesome mode man, loving the creativity and flavor here. I have a personal suggestion, if possible, to replace the shapeshift effect of Karlach's Rage with Enlarge instead? Would love to do a Hulk RP for a different playthrough probably with that mutant mod, oh also unarmed buff and knockback would complement your hulk mod. But yeah, Mama K don't deserve to look like a filthy Orc with mismatch hairdo.

I came here from the original Demi-God mod and aren't really interested in the vampire additions but needed the pak. file way of installation lmao. Also a way to remove the unstoppable, like a toggle-able feature?

Can work on a Demi God Light version this week and will get it posted as an alternate version. Should be a pretty easy change overall for an alternate download.
Can I have this mod downloaded along with the Vampire God Expanded mod? I want Astarion to bite me and give me the same necrotic damage boost, but I don't receive it. I am using the Dungeon Delver background and I wanted to get vampirism from Astarion on top of Dungeon Delver. I am able to contract vampirism, but I don't receive the necrotic damage on every hit like Astarion has when he attacks. I'm not sure how to fix this or if it is working as intended.
Necrotic Damage and Create Undead abilities are not given to vampire Spawn and are actually tied to the background of Trickster Hedonist. This means that only Created characters from the beginning will get powers of a Main/Master vampire by choosing the background (with a Custom Character, Dark Urge with the Trickster Hedonist chosen, Dark Urge Astarion or Astarion).
Vampire Spawn characters will have a great deal of powers and will get a small regenerative health ability but not to the speed of the Main/Master Vampire who cannot get heals from being Undead.
I did the Vampire abilities to make the story line more compatible and also to make it so that only the Main/Master vampire can create vampires when they bite/feed off someone. Spawn Vampire just inflicts the target with Bloodless like in vanilla game.
Being Dungeon Delver: You should have the powers from that line (Background) and get the Vampire Spawn powers listed. Mercy help the NPCs in the game if you had chosed Champion instead being that you become invulnerable to damage when on the 3rd tier of Champion for the duration of the battle. You truly would be godlike in game as the main character!!
I came across something irritating. When you play as a vampire, playing as a monk who fights without a weapon... makes no sense. The monk has bonuses when fighting unarmed - and the vampire has claws that are treated as weapons... and have little damage compared to the monk's fists... and these claws cannot be turned off.
Unless... we assume that a vampire can't fight with his fists... for some reason. Thanks to this I tried the champion... wow... :-)
Will have to see if I can have the claws not appear on characters that are monks. Will have to work on that change. Thanks for letting me know about it as I have not tried all options yet.
Thanks. I thought a shadow monk would be a great fit for a vampire... Maybe instead of turning it off for the monk, it would be better to make the claws retractable - in passive abilities. I don't know what it would look like from a technical perspective.

Update: Have tested the change to have claw attack separated from Unarmed in my Vampire God Expanded mod. Everything is working there and in testing removed the necrotic damge for bonus damage (Replaced with Piercing to not destroy corpses in the game to where Speak with the Dead would not work). Added a Summon Wolf companion spell for the vampire and removed Create Undead, Shadow Blade, and Shadow Step. To keep in balance some now you have a small chance to create a zombie with your claw attack.
Should have some of the changes with the claws, Piercing instead of Necrotic damage and Summon Wolf moved to this mod soon for the vampire play.
if i already have a character made using the demigod mod, will swapping to demigod improved still allow me to play on that character? like will i have to restart all over again?
Wow... It's great to play as a vampire, using the shadows and avoiding the sun add an interesting flavor to the game. I've been playing for a few hours (as a vampire) and everything seems to be working fine. Great mod, thank you very much!

Demi God Improved - No Sun damage for vampires but has Karlach that becomes a Hulk when in Rage Demi God Improved No Karlach Hulk - No Sun damage for vampires and doesn't have Karlach where she can become a Hulk Demi God Improved Beware Sun as Vamp - Sun damage for Vampires (Except for Astarion) and doesn't have Karlach where she can become a Hulk.
Also, don't forget that you can infect others in the game by biting them with Vampirism.. Version 8.4 has some other improvements as well.
