Would you consider adding Milil as a selectable deity?
(spoilers) I know that it goes against the lore set up in the game, but I'd still like to have it for my own roleplay reasons. Plus, maybe you could add in an extra dialogue option that allows a Milil-aligned Tav to recognize him at the epilogue party.
yes! melil is on my to-do list. I have a secret deity project im working on first, and then i'll start working on a handful of highly requested deities such as melil and umberlee, as well as one that my wife wanted - deneir.
well i have the problem that despite selecting sylvanus it just appears as deity chosen but not as a tag D: is the same with the jergal one, dispite having seen the sylvanus options sometimes in game when you try the history roll apart from that i cant seem to have the sylvanus or jergal tag ingame ;w;
Silvanus was a selectable deity in most of the early access versions of BG3. Their writers never included any deity specific dialogue references for or to the player if Silvanus was their chosen deity. Arron ended conversations with the player or party NPC interacting with him with "May Silvanus guide your path" regardless of their choice of deity. Nor was a player follower of Silvanus ever given a deity specific objection if Gale asked them to steal the Idol of Silvanus at the Emerald Grove.
I love these small mods. Gods Extra is waaaaay too much for me, but the base game list does have some really glaring holes that need mod attention. This lighter touch is a nice way to serve the obvious needs of the story (give Halsin the Oak Father, let Durge choose Bhaal) without flooding the menu.
In that light, if you're looking for any inspiration, one thing I've been doing for my own game is a quick hack of the Triad that uses both the Tyr and Ilmater tags, so I have something more specific than "faithful" to give Wyll (it feels really appropriate that he should be able to gatekeep the fake paladins, in particular). Gond might be nice for the artificer mod, as well.
Either way, it's really cool that you're using the new tag framework. I can't wait to see what people start doing with these new APIs once they really get rolling.

I don't know much about the gods of the 5th Edition or if they're all even still alive in the timeline of the game.
But i have two ideas:
Lurue, a nature deity of healing, often worshipped by Fey and performers
Hanali Celanil, the elvemn godess of arts, love and beauty
Would it be possible to add them, too?
