Hello, any chance you could upload this to mod.io as well? When crossplay drops this is a pretty essential mod for paladins (due to sharrans and our favourite devil). Thank you for your answer in advance :)
Could you make the other Smites hit as hard (or as close to as hard) as Divine Smite? I kinda wana be an evil Oathbreaker but having to use Divine Smite and it’s holy look ruins it for me 😂 I’d prefer to be slapping them around with Wrathful Smite but it lacks the punch of Divine
Is there a way to give oathbreaker paladin subclass a necro-damage 'undivine' smite ? As an oathbreaker who wields demonic power amd necromancy, radiant damage divine smite looks strange for the class
Yeah I always thought it was a little weird that Oathbreaker can still use Channel Divinity/Channel Oath and stuff. I could probably do something like that
Well it's lore-accurate, just vibe-unfriendly. I've got some ideas, Oathbreaker Enhanced (possibly) coming soon. Still gotta finish that damn Holy Avenger.
I am writting this note to explain a brand new crazy idea of mine, Paladin Divine Smite + Warlock Eldritch Smite.
The picture above is from another mod, what it does is to introduce hexblade warlock and some feats from XGE (The beholder rulebook). AS this picture showing is Eldritch Smite feat from XGE, which allows warlock pact of blade to do powerful smite.
Now what I am thinking, Is it technically possible to modify divine smite, so during a paladin & warlock multiclassing, casting divine smite with warlock spell slot, this particular divine smite can do addition effects of eldritch smite: Weapon damage + 2d8 Radiant damage (extra 1d8*per spell level upcasting & another 1d8 to fiend and undead) + 1d8 & extra 1d8*per spell level Force damage + Prone (include huge size and smaller). Function needs to be applied in two interrupts for critical/non-critical hits as usuall.
Please, feel free and tell me whether it is logically do-able or not. I am looking forward to this game experience breaker.
If Divine Smite isn't already castable with Warlock spell slots, I don't think I could change that without breaking Divine Smite for anyone who isn't a Warlock. However this idea is similar to what I'm already planning for Oathbreaker, just without the Warlock part
heii just want to ask if the passive is active by default when first getting the feature because if not npc characters (enemies) with a high enough paladin level would also get this feature as a passive but not active.
Thanks for making this mod. It always felt bad going to that location in act 3 and having a paladin party member feel useless with how much damage they'd end up taking.

However, I have made this which may be close to what you're after.
especially that dvine smite radiant damage, which is super unlore-friendly
