- [Main] Added German localization support. [Thanks Matereniam] - [Home Brewed] Fixed flipped dice shine axis. - [Home Brewed] Added annotations and guides to help with making new dice.
I heavily recommend these listed guides for those wanting to make their own dice. They far exceed my own annotations. Kudos to these guys.
- dimetequiero has provided video tutorials for replacing home brewed textures. - WingedAsarath has provided a written tutorial on how to set up new dice using the home brewed template. - SeanConnerX0 has developed a fantastic utility to make stand-alone dice set creation even easier through automation.
I think I'm having the same issue with a difference dice set. Tried deleting the mod, playing vanilla, reinstalling bg3, and yet its always just a blank die that lets me do nothing at all (can't even change it)
I'm trying to use this mod, it's the first mod I'm trying. When I have it active, the game boots, my save file loads, but I can't interact with anything. I can not talk to characters, or interact with things in the area. I downloaded the mod manager, the net files it suggests and the advanced ui file. When I deactivate the mod things work as normal? What am I doing wrong? edit: watched someone's video... I forgot to drag the .pak files of the ui into mod manager and also picked up mod fixer and also dragged the .pak into the manager... woops lol
I've tried opening the .dds files to look at making my own textures, but GIMP won't open them for me. What graphic editing programme would you suggest to use to open them?
I've attempted this a few months ago, had to get a DDS plugin for photoshop. There might be one for GIMP...
However, even though I was able to get it to work to make a custom dice, it was extremely painful and tedious since each texture is many frames of animation... I highly recommend if you go down this route to try something like https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/1325
Has anyone making dice thought of making a "heads or tails" type of roll, so that it converts the dice roll into a coin flip for extra hard playthroughs? :P
