I hope yall already found the scag cantrips mod but just incase someone else comes here. This hasnt been updated because yall can just download the other mods with SCAG cantrips xD
How does this work on an Arcane Trickster Rogue? As I understand it, sneak attack in BG3 is implemented as a separate weapon attack that's available in the hotbar when the conditions are met. When using your booming blade cantrip, will it perform an attack with the 'sneak attack weapon' when available, or does it always use the regular attack option?
This Booming Blade appears to use your action to cast it, like most spells and the original in 5e. The Rogue's Sneak Attack can actually be implemented on ANY attack they make in a turn. It isn't just an ability that uses an Action. You can alter how your Sneak Attack triggers in the "Reactions" menu. I have it set to ask if I'd like to use it whenever I attack. Since I am absolute filth and play a Thief I have three chances per turn to get a crit. I save SA for the crit if I get it.
My GUESS (since I haven't tested this yet and am saving mods for my second playthrough) is that, if you set up SA to ask you when it triggers then it could apply to the BB attack since it is technically an attack.
Works really good, end of its turn or beginning of your turn does not really matter, as it procs when the creature moves, and cannot proc again until recast. If you can get Green Flame Blade made, it would be awesome. Especially for my Eldritch Knight Build. True Strike is ok, but requires concentration. Those SCAG cantrips are awesome for a melee/arcane hybrid.
Really cool, can't wait to use it. I had an idea for a similar cantrip that would fit into BG3, Shadowflame Blade: hit an enemy with a melee attack, and their shadow becomes engulfed in flame, if they end their turn in bright or dim light they take fire damage. Obviously it would have to wait until the lighting system is done, but I think it would be kind of cool to utilize a system that's not really in 5e.
correct, and dump the pak file into the mods folder. The Candor app doesn't work for the most part, so I just do it manually which is actually just as fast and more reliable
Jirafa yo no entiendo cuando intento modificar el Modsetting siempre vuelve a gustav original como se colocan no solo copiar y pegar? solo puedo usar mod sean compatibles con candor ;C
This is the same issue I had when I first tried adding mods, and Candor was released later that day. It has always worked fine for me, and it definitely works with this mod.
