Hi, you have left unnecessary references to other visual effects in ScriptMaterialOverrides.lsf.lsx, which makes this mod partly incompatible with other visual effect altering mods using this method.
For users, if your Volo/Half Illithid visual removal mod isn't working along this one, load this one above those in your load order, and it'll fix the issue.
Have floating shadowheart hair over my modded appearance from Appearance Edit Enhanced mod. It's just floating hair that follows her around and has delayed response too. Is this how the mod is supposed to function or is something weird going on? Tried reloading and still have issue. Tried long resting again also still no luck..playing on patch 7
update: i uninstalled the mod and her hair went back to white, but the floating head piece is still there, it's also just white now. So now I'm fairly sure that floating hair isn't supposed to be there/float like that.
I might have found a solution to the floating head. Use the mirror since you have appearance edit enhanced mod to change her hairstyle and the floating hair should go away.
Okay I downloaded the mod.... But it says there are 3 options to change hair. What I don't understand is how in a world do I go between the options? How do I select other hair styles?
The main reason I want to change to old black hair is that new black hair has a weird dent in hairline... Please help!!!! I don't understand how to install old hairstyle black
So I used the loose files of her new hairstyle but she just changed her hair to white. I’m trying to avoid using pak file mods this play through if possible but I’ll use it if it’s the only version working post patch 6. Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix?
EDIT: user error is to blame here. I had the files in the wrong spot. Once I moved them to the main Data folder, they seemed to work just fine
Removing the Mod Fixer is actually quite simple - I'll leave these instructions here for anyone who needs them. However, it assumes you're using BGMM (Baldur's Gate Mod Manager), I know nothing about Vortex, sorry!
Apart from BGMM, you will need Baldur's Gate Modders Multitool: https://github.com/ShinyHobo/BG3-Modders-Multitool
Now! In the mod manager, select your problem mod, then go to Tools --> Extract Selected Mods To... I chose to extract it to Desktop, but the location doesn't matter. You will see that a folder will be created there, containing all the unpacked mod data.
Look through it until you find the Story folder and delete it! That's what the Mod Fixer is, it recompiles the story scripts which used to be necessary but no longer is.
Now fire up the Modders Multitool. You will see a big blue square that says "Drop mod workspace folder or a mod .pak here."Drag and drop the whole folder (minus the now deleted Story one) there. Click Rebuild. It'll generate a .zip with your updated .pak file in it.
Replace the old mod with your cleaned up one. Done!

Thank you so much in advance.

The reason why your mod is incompatible with patch 7 because of the files
zz.txt
and
Patch3fix.txt
You can either remove them for Patch7 compatibility, or simply rename them to
ForceRecompile.txt
to stay compatible with both Patch 6 and Patch 7

I would love an updated version of this mod. I miss dark Shadowheart :(

Oh and you can do it all from the multitool, I extracted the original pak in there.
