If it's not working for you it means one of the following:
You are not actually on the latest game version
You are not actually on the latest mod version
You have installed the mod or its dependency incorrectly
You do not have the latest VC redistributable installed: https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe. If you think you do, try updating/reinstalling anyway. We have some anecdotal evidence of completely unrelated installers downgrading the installed VC redist version silently.
The bug tracker has been disabled in order to retain my sanity and my faith in humanity, as the only new reports endlessly popping up there weren't bugs at all. Sorry, I'd like to keep it open for actual bugs, but cleaning the tracker up from endless "mod doesn't work" reports while I have a sticky post saying that yes it does work on this particular game version is seriously mentally draining. If the version of the game you're on is listed above, it means that I have personally verified that the mod works on that version.
The mod will never be on the official mod manager as .dll mods are unsupported.
Update to Patch 8 is out. I've kind of dreaded the photo mode changes but it turns out they don't seem to have affected anything related to the mod at all - which is great. I've only done barebones testing. Hopefully everything's okay.

After patch 8, not sure if this is caused by this mod because my long ass load list. But whenever the game goes to autosave mouse movements get locked, anyone able to replicate this?
Oh good, someone else is being annoyed by this. I can confirm that this happens to me as well, even when the only mods I have installed are Native Camera Tweaks, WASD Movement, and Script Extender. I'm also having an issue where the camera will zoom in and lock into place behind my character's head in certain areas of the game. The one area I can always recall triggering this is just outside the crypt door past Gimblebock and his goons. It's easy enough to fix by moving far enough away, and then just clicking the door from range, but I don't recall having this issue before Patch 8.
Try 1,else 2, else 2 then 1, else IDK : 1 once enter/exit turn-based mode (pressing Space or Shift + Space on keyboard by default) then double click on your character portrait (left side of hotbar) 2 save then load. for me 1 is usually enough .
TheSuicidalPope - I just had this bug happen to me. The camera in general doesnt seem to be as responsive as it was before patch 8, getting stuck in places not rotating properly, locking the zoom. I can't be sure if its this mod or the game itself
Im having a similar problem with the camera zoom suddenly changing, altho I havent experienced any freezes or fps drops yet, Im just unable to adjust or rotate the camera when the zoom bug happens.
Im having an issue where the camera zoom in when I try to rotate it after a while, then Im unable to control the zoom and get stuck looking at my character's neck.
I wish I could give more info on it but Im unable to reproduce it consistently.
Hello, your mod is amazing but currently I can look around when I press the mouse middle scroll button but it's a bit uncomfortable for me to play like that so I was wondering if there was a way to change it to the left or right button instead? :)
Using Native Camera Tweaks with Patch 8. Have noticed that the pan up/down is gone when in combat. Definitely used to be able to do this in previous versions to get up close to combat scenes.
If I remember correctly, there used to be mention of the (combat pitch) default state change, within a previous Sticky post above (regarding a previous mod update), however, it is still mentioned in the Changelogs on the description page:

soo i've been having trouble getting this mod to work before patch 8's release, and i am currently still on patch 7. what's happening is that my game will not load when i have the mod installed, i have followed the instructions carefully and am dead certain i have everything up to date with patch 7. (to be specific, the loading screen gets stuck at 100%) i have put both the 2.4.3 versions of toml and dll in the NativeMods folder (which is in the bin), made sure the bink dll's were in the bin, and i believe that was all i needed to do to get the mod running. is anyone able to help me with a solution?
Struggling to get this mod working with mouse at all. Works fine with controller but I am not able to move camera with my mouse. It's acts as if the mod isn't installed with mouse. WASD mod is the only other mod installed and it works fine with keyboard.
After trying the few troubleshooting guides that I found on this page, I resulted to a fresh install of the game and no luck. Still not able to move camera with the mouse's middle button. Had no issues on patch 7, worked like a dream but for some reason patch 8 only works on controller for me.
edit: Tried a completely fresh game install, same results. Tried by using vortex to manage the mods, same results. Tried with multiple different mice, same results. Tried with different USB ports, same results. Double and triple checked that I had the correct versions of all mods and C++ (with the link provided in the top sticky post). WASD Character Movement mod works flawlessly, so I know Native Mod Loader is installed correctly. Native Camera Tweaks only works with controller and not mouse. Confirmed it works with controller by disabling the mod and seeing the right stick only zooms in and out. Reenabled the mod and controller right stick pitches camera up and down and holding left stick allows right stick to zoom in and out. Holding middle mouse button does nothing change the pitch of the camera, and as far as I can tell when using M&Kb the mod isn't active at all.
