    New Background of Shadow to choose to become a Shade

    Added:
    One with the Shadows (Automatic on entering shadows)
    Added Extra Attack at level 3
    Added Extra Spell damage at level 3 (When in Shadows)

    First things first, the guiid in backrounds.lsx is wrong.
    secondly Durge now can chose backrounds (i didnt want that, how can i change it back?),i understand to be a shade you must choose the shadow backround
    but if i want to be a shade and have the haunted one backround and be a Durge the only way would be if shade Durge was an origin.
    (Also the Haunted background is gone in normal Durge)
    ..and there is no summon shadow power..

    So how can one make it an origin... even there to be an origin as well a vampire shade haunted one Dark Urge..



    can you give me some hints how to make it so?

    hello and thanks for the mods, but i have a question... i was planning to leave durge origin to your "vampire god" mod but i also kinda wanted to still have the option to play shade as a non-origin character on another save, is that possible or will they conflict?? mod description seems ambiguous about this, but maybe i'm just being dense who knows

    I already complemented this mod once, but I'm going to do it again after having completed a playthrough with it. Excellent work, phenomenal mod.

    Thank you for this amazing mod. I've always wanted to be like the shadows in this game from the moment I walked through the Shadowlands. This mode has made my wish come true. Thank you for the response time and responsiveness. And for adding more options. 😍

    Love Shades. Great mod, great response time, and open to feedback. Really pleased with the mod, and the author. Asked for a no mirror image version by PM, and the author had it out in less than a day. Outstanding.

      There is a download version without mirror image. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions for the mod.

    I have this mod and love it.  I am not able to find how to Shadow Mastiff Companion at level 4.  Is this ability based on total xp instead of level?  I ask because I am also using a mod that adjust the xp required per level so my level 4 and the normal level 4 are not the same.  Any help is appreciated.

      Had a bug with the Shadow Mastiff.. Working on fixing the issue but standard wolf should be able to be summoned for now.

      I don't have a skill/spell to summon anything after level 4.  I am playing a fighter class, so no summon spells at all are available to me right now.

      Will check on that tonight. Should be working but if there is a bug, I will get that corrected. I know that it will not work in daylight with the lighting conditions. Let me know if it does summon in the shadows.

      I don't even have a skill or spell to try to summon something - am I just missing something?

      More than likely a bug that I need to fix from the last update. Similar skill working in another mod I made, so may have missed something in creating the spell.

      Update: Still working on the issue with the summoning. May be another day to fix.

      Removed the Summon Shadow Mastiff and changed it to Summon a Shade (Undead). Let me know if there are any issues with this change.

      I downloaded the updated mod and installed it, created a new game, made a gold dwarf pure warrior, and at level 4 there is no summon anything for me still.  Am I do something wrong?

      I have the same problem, my Blackguard Elf reaches level 4 and i don't see summon spell nor extra mele attak. Even, i am heavily obscured. I use Expansion 12-20 with XP x4 Faster and Blackguard class mod. But fortunately, the rest of features works good. Thanks for this amazing mod. 
      I load this mod after/below, blackguard mod and expansion 12-20.

      Tested the mod again and it appears to give the ability to summon a Shadow and Extra Attack while in shadow lighting conditions and has no mirror image. Will update the one with Mirror Image shortly.

      I tested the mod without mirror images. It's really cool. Better than the original in my opinion. Now I think the problems come from mod conflict.  With all my mods enabled, summon capacity dont appear. But when i disabled, 2e spell; animate dead ++; dreadoverlord; Necromancy expend; Necromancy cantrip for cleric; pernicious thread; Valkrana's spellbook and Vlads Grimoire. The summon capacity appears . I don't know exactly which mod is causing problems. In  addition, loading your mod after all but before compatibilityframwork, does not solve the problem.

      EDIT : Extra attack fix. When i go from sunlight to shadow area the additional attack reappears. 
      I removed unnecessary mods and summon spell works fine.

    Have an alternate version of the mod without the mirror image effect. This will give a little variation on the gameplay of the mod and has One with the Shadows invisibility effect for the character.

    Hi. Very new to moding so need a bit of help. The sting here you want us to update, do we just add this under the excisting sting or do we delete the original and replace with this?
    Sorry dont understand this part. Tries to just add this to the file under the excisting sting but when I loaded BG3 there is no Shade "background" visible.
    I have ofcause added the Shade.pak file to the Mods folder. 
    What am i doing wrong?

    Any chance to not use "Choose the background of Outlander and then create your character as you normally would by race, class, etc".., i think it would be better to add new background instead of using regular one, this is dope XD

      Will look at doing that with another background and get that updated soon.
      Did this, for now, as a way to keep conflicts down with my other mods... in case you wanted to run all of them.

      Dark Urge Darkness
      
      This mod is made to give the Dark Urge Origin character a few more abilities make the gameplay more interesting and that increase in power as the character levels. They gain the ability to cast Darkness each combat, Immune to Blindess from Darkness, can Shadow Teleport, have DarkVision (24) and Necrotic Damage with weapon and Unarmed (1 + Level)

      Dark Urge All Origins

      This mod gives the additional Dark Urge background for the origin character. So now you can play as the Origin storyline (Quest) and the Dark Urge Origin (Quest) on Astarion, Laezel, Wyll, Shadowheart, Gale or Karlach at the same time on one character. So this way you can play the storyline for Shadowheart and The Dark Urge on the same character, etc...at the same time.

      Vampire God Expanded

      Gives the ability to play as a Vampire with Dark Urge, Dark Urge Astarion or Custom Character. In addition, you can infect others with vampirism as the Main Character with that background. Those bitten will get Bloodless and it will go away on Long Rest, unless they bite someone to become a Full Vampire.


      • Note: This one has been a crazy one because I had one time all the enemies I bit started biting each other to become full vampires and the entire group of enemies were vampires too during the fight as it is contagious!
      Demi God Improved

      This mod is a combination of the Demi-God Mod and Play as a Full Vampire. It improves some of the settings to lower sunlight damage on vampire, immunity to sunlight damage in gaseous form.

      Ok cool cause sumone added a bunch of backgrounds of there own so i kno it can be done JWL Histories and Occupations - 26 New Backgrounds (I dont use this but here is a example)

      Since Karlach has the Outlander background, does this automatically make her a Shade?

      Ahh. Forgot her background and yes, I guess she would be a Shade at the moment.. hahahaha! Will get a unique background set.

      At this point you can start as a Shade character with Shadowheart (as the Dark Urge0 with all their shadow powers and when you are bitten in camp.. you can be a vampire as well if you combine all the mods.

      Thats cool, sum of the stuff need description on what they do in game but looks good
