Thanks for this mod, but unfortunally it indeed doesnt work in patch 7. I found something that does work though, both unlimited questions, and damaged corpses.

Which is the notorious speak with dead rework. While the main files of said mod doesnt work at all (trying to cast speak with dead on a corpse doesnt do anything, tested with francis at ravaged beach), if you only, and i repeat ONLY install both optional files, and load the damaged corpse version above the tweak version, then it will work with your normal speak with dead spell. Even if you get an amulet out of the tutorial chest in the nautiloid, or whatever. Ive also tested this on a burned corpse and its working like a charm.
So, this is the method to have speak with dead unlimited :)

So it took ages for me to get to the reason why this approach (2 tweaks from the other mod) wasn’t working - turns out the new in game mod manager automatically loads your mods alphabetically regardless of your bg3mm order. I had to download tthe nexus mod “mod manager fixes and tweaks” to get it to stop and hey presto Mara’s method is working 100%. cheers
I've tested this myself for patch 7. If you are using patch 7 and using vortex, this will not work for previous saved games or new games. There are posts saying it works for patch 7 but this will NOT work with vortex. You need to unpack the .pak and delete the story folder and repack it. It will work after that. B1+Bottle user here, put both to bottom of my load order, had each load one after the other but power wanes and cannot keep asking questions testing on the speak with dead beach fisherman. Recast speak with the dead.
Can get these two files to work alongside Speak with Dead Tweaks, loaded last. Making your B1 do the damaged corpse changes, the bottle compatible and the missing questions and killer change.
Nah, it will happen, 2024 is just terrible for me, I have so many IRL stuff to do that my modding time is like 1/20 what it was. But I will return to old pace as soon as possible.
For me the mod is working fine. Personally the only thing i really, really want this mod to do is allowing to "ignore killer" while trying to speak with the dead. Honestly it baffles me how this is not a gameplay toggle or a custom game setting of some kind, it's such an annoying mechanic to have to a spell as useful as this one. When i tried using it on a body after a battle, the body was willing to talk, but not to its killer.

I am wondering if you could implement "Ignore Killer". I have some scuffed tough battles going wrong because of this.
Any chance please of a version with "unlimited questions" and "talk to killer" (including damaged corpse)?
