Hi I'm trying to do something similar and trying to output 60 fps 1080p footage.
I'm pretty happy with the look of my footage but some audio is lost in the conversions. It seems to be RAD itself that loses the audio as I did a test of going from bik to mp4 back to bik and all dialogue is then missing.
Strangely though, even though the original bik file has all audio when I play the game. When I view it outside of the game with RAD tools it is missing dialogue as well as quite a few sound effects. It's almost like it's only playing the rear channels or something in a surround setup.
Did you face this issue? if so how do you resolve it?
Thanks in advance for any help you are able to provide, or simply for taking the time to read this :)
I have the ability to convert these to 60 FPS as well. I am rendering some test footage. Do you want to see it and are you interested in offering a 1080p60fps version of the files as well?
I can't really tell the difference, I think I must have missed something:
How do you install this mod exactly? What are the steps?
What are some troubleshooting methods to make sure it work? Right now, it appears to look the same as before and even has the old frame skipping problems as the original.
Regardless, great job! The screenshots look really good, way better than before for sure.
Hey, solid work dude, I wanna commend you on that. But I cant help but notice that in the 1080p version some fine details are lost from the original 720p. Still nice for some people with smaller storage.
Thank you for feedback! Yes, indeed, due to the removal of artifacts and a slightly darker gamut, some little details might lost. But in general, 1080p video is much more cinematic due to the strong anti-aliasing compared to original/Asylum 4K. This was my first project so it's not perfect. I think someday I will return to this and find more successful parameters NN to improve videos. For now, I suggest people consider this as an alternative if they don't like aliasing/weight in Asylum 4K, but they also don't like bad quality of originals video.

And you should add mirrors to the download, the 3MBps limit gets annoying really.
Do you need my help with converting videos to readable format by the game?
I can provide the 4K source files in .mp4 format if you'd like to enhance them the way you did for this version.
