Splitscreen is because asylum onward it was removed. This mod was made by latexxjuggernut and not the modders who did asylum co-op. Knight co-op was in development by me but is temporarily scrapped due to not working properly.
If the split screen functionality was in Asylum, but removed it the next games, do you think it would be possible to copy the split screen code from Asylum into City?
Hey what's up dude hope u doing well ! Just wanted to ask if there is any way to have this mod working on arkham knight or do i have to wait for a release of the mod ? Thanks by advance
In gta san andreas there was the same issue with multiplayer mods, both players had to share the same screen. Someone managed to split the screens using reshade, then made a script to attach individual camera controls for each screen. Here is, it might help: https://forum.mixmods.com.br/f5-scripts-codigos/t8670-sa-split-screen-for-2-player-mode-v1-2
If you've set the mod up correctly Player 2 should spawn in the exact same location as Player 1. The mod isn't splitscreen so you need to make sure to keep Player 2 in sight or you may lose them. If you load a save and the 2nd player isn't right next to you, the mod probably isn't set up correctly. There are a few times when Player 2 isn't spawned correctly, such as in the intro when Playing as Bruce or occasionally when the story forces you to swap to Catwoman. If you just singleplayer through the Bruce segments then you should be fine.
There isn't a Defaultinput.ini, you drag the BmGame folder into your Batman Arkham City GOTY folder and that will replace the Singleplayer engine with the co-op one. As soon as you load a save, the second player will already be spawned in right where you are. Then the other person needs to connect a controller to play as them. If you encounter any issues with being unable to progress in co-op, you can rename Engine.upk to Enginecoop.upk or something so you know what it is, then rename Engine.upk.backup to Engine.upk. The backup is the one you use when you want to switch to Singleplayer.
The mod isn't splitscreen. Both players share Player 1's perspective. Essentially you have to keep Player 2 in the frame otherwise they're not gonna be able to see where they are.
pretty sure that can't work unless someone probably coded up a server or something people can connect to in these games and even then there's alot of complications to that kind of thing

(Also I hope it works in Arkham Knight if it's being developped. XD)
