Yes, it's there invisibly as you describe, as is the case with the mod #597 I mentioned. The level then starts loading, with the spinning Bat icon in the corner of the screen. This continues for a while, then the game quits to desktop, without any error message. This does not happen with mod #597.
Also, the INT folder doesn't seem to belong in the BmGame folder, but in the BmGame\Localization folder.
I removed other mods and did a file-check to restore the game files, then reinstalled this mod. It still aborts. I suspect the reason is it requires the Community Patch, as you alluded to in your ReadMe.txt.
im having the same issue with other suit mods too, the only one that seems to work is the one million batsuit. is this because of the community patch?? need help to get these mods working.
I haven't installed the Community Patch, because it changes so many things, and is incompatible with TexMod. Still, I have been able to use the "Catwoman Nude Outfit (New Suit Slot or Replacer)" mod:
I figured out how to get it to work* (in Steam version of BAC GOTY, without the Community Patch).
Though this is not critical, be sure the INT\ folder is merged in the BmGame\Localization\ folder, not placed in the BmGame\ folder. If this is not done, the skin will be named "?INT?Batman_Catwoman.CharSelect.Name?" instead of "Batman Catwoman".
INSTALLATION:
The line added to PCGame.ini should be added at the end of either the first or the second [BmGame.RPlayerController] section. I prefer placing it in the first section, so it is with all the other Batman skins. Change "Id=X" in the added line to use a number instead of "X":
Id=9 (one larger than the largest previous Batman Id of 8) will place it as the last outfit in the main game and in RIDDLER'S CHALLENGE mode (where it can't be used without Community Patch, AFAIK).
Id=1 will place it after the "Batman Animated" suit, which is useful for three reasons. First, it makes the presence of the added skin explicitly visible as a gap in the suits menu. Second, it means that the first three suits can be used to select "Catwoman", "Animated Catwoman", and "Catwoman" to correspond with "Batman", "Animated Batman" and "Batman Catwoman". Third, it will not add the suit as an option in RIDDLER'S REVENGE, which is a good thing, since selecting "Batman Catwoman" there will cause game to abort *.
USE IN GAME:
The savegame used must be one from later in the game, where you are given a choice of 9 outfits after selecting "CONTINUE STORY". When loading a savegame, if Batman is the active character the game aborts with this skin. To get around this:
Select "CONTINUE STORY [PLUS]", then select one of the nine regular Batman skins, NOT the "Batman Catwoman" skin.
Go to a "Character Switch Point" and change to Catwoman. The game will automatically save at this point, with Catwoman active.
EXIT the level, then "CONTINUE STORY [PLUS]" again, this time selecting the "Batman Catwoman" skin.
Now you can change back to Batman, and play the main game with "Batman Catwoman" skin, using Batman moves and gadgets.
The above process has to be repeated whenever switching from another mode to the "CONTINUE STORY" or "CONTINUE STORY PLUS" modes.

I replaced X with 9 in the +Playable line. (If this is not done, the mod won't even show up in the list of outfits.)
