The only setback is that it doesn't affect star/talent generation on the starting bros, no matter the origin. But it works wonders on everything else. Great mod!
Hello, there is an opportunity here to add an increase in experience and a decrease in the payment of fighters, for example on 10%,20%,30%,40% and so on.
Is the mod also compatible with legends version 19.x?
If yes, I have a question concerning perks at veteran level:
in the legends mod version 19 veteran level starts at level 12, then a perk is added at certain levels, f.e. for the crusader origin, the original bro gets a perk every 2 levels, every other every 5 levels. If I want to keep this logic, how do I have to set the veteran level for perks slider?
Generally, I don't quite understand how those veteran settings work: For attributes the slider "Veteran Level for Attributes" starts at level 11, up to 21. But the slider "Veteran Level for Perks" starts at 1, up to 21. I find that difference a bit confusing.
For the "Veteran Level for Attributes", i.e., setting the slider at 11, does it mean that the Veteran Level starts at brother level 11, so in the case of Legends 19 the first veteran level would change from 12 to 11?
For the "Veteran level for Perks", the slider starts at 1. I suppose that 1 means the veteran level, not the brother level. Is this correct? I'm not sure how I do have to set those 2 veteran perks sliders in order to keep the Legends 19 logic described above.
Generally Bro Studio is designed to not override anything but work on top of it. I.e. you should have the base mod whatever it is behavior if you don't move any Bro Studio sliders.
I didn't test it though with Legends 19 or any other mods that move veteran levels, so I'm not sure how it will work. You might try keeping sliders at default.
This sounds weird though, if you don't want any changes you might as well remove Bro Studio ) So what you really want to achieve?
Thank you for your reply. Well I'd like to use the other settings, the chance of an additional talent and an additional trait, and having the veteran boost enabled, while keeping the perk settings of the mod. I'm just confused by the slider range and what they mean (11-21 for attributes and 1-21 for perks) , so I'm not sure how to set them.
Veteran level for attrs mean at which level a bro stops to get full attr rolls and get ones instead. Veteran level for perks is where you stop getting perks as non-veteran, i.e. one per level in vanilla. Both default to 11 in vanilla. If you don't want to change those then just let them be as is or if that doesn't work set them to 12 the same as in Legends 19 - I didn't test so I am not sure how it will work.
Then just set talent, trait and veteran boost as you wish.
To quickly test how it will work you can use Breditor and it's give level function, i.e. set up Bro Studio in main menu as you like, start a new game, give a bro levels and see how he gets perks and attrs. If it does the way you like then can use those settings in your real game.
It works perfectly. I did a test with breditor and in order to keep the legends perk settings I just had to set the add veteran perk slider to off and the other sliders to 12. Thank you a lot for your help.
