I love all the First Law references. Rikke the Dogman and the Father of Swords (Father's Sword). I can make Whirrun of Bligh wield it or make the avatar a brave version of Red Beck since he carries his father's sword also. And the arena is the circle. I can recreate Logen's duels XD
Hi. I have a question: Does this mod add the event about saving a guy in the wilderness from a bunch of NPCs (in my case it was zombies) and then you can accept this guy as a teammate. He has a unique sword "Long Claw" and a pet Wolf named Ghost.
I have a harsh bug with this pet wolf. It gets spawned on and on after each battle or if I Unequip the wolf from the inventory, Having full inventory of wolves. They cost 0 and cannot be sold or get rid of otherwise.
I am playing with Reforged. Even downloaded a mod that allows deleting items from your stash. And the damn Wolf duplicates on and on when I delete a copy of it.
Do you think it'd be possible to make a mod option so you could be friendly to the South, but hostile to the normal nobles? I like the idea of doing a kind of Varangian playthrough, where I stay as a raider in the north but serve as a merc. in the south.
Great mod bro, playing it with reforged right now, and its working fine, but it would be easier if you make a patch for it, so the main guy gets swords always, instead of restarting until he gets it, which is still fine.
Also since mod works great, it would be nice to make Nomads for south, and Brigands for middle factions in a same way :D Nomads could have something like south arena, fighting beasts, and brigands could bet on fights you dont partake in or something like that
when playing another origin and i go to check out a contract (turns out drive of barbarians) i get nothing popping up and towns stop showing the ui when entering and when i load the save its corrupted.
Your zip appears to be compressed with some outdated non-compliant tool, which uses \ to split paths instead of /. This makes it hard to open zip on Linux. Can you please rezip it with something else?
Dude, your mod is incredible, but I have to give some suggestions, the first is to tone down the sword, to make it look more "lore friendly", it could be a little more tribal but different from the other barbarian weapons to make it more unique, but if this is not possible, this is a good size, another suggestion would be to remove the information about which enemies exist in the barbarian settlements... since they are our allies it doesn't make much sense, having such information, other than that it is an incredible mod.
Thank you for the feedback. The sword model is from the base game. At this point I don't have intentions to commission a new art. However, I'm strongly considering adding it as an option (with 2h cleaver being other option).
As for hiding troops, I will consider having it as an option. Do note, that it serves a purpose to know this info, as then you can lure enemy patrols to friendly camps.
Another suggestion I'm going to give is about quests involving the destruction of other barbarian settlements, when I entered a barbarian settlement, there was this specific quest to destroy another barbarian camp, the problem is that if I attack that settlement, it ceases to exist. ..this quest can break the game, if you don't want to follow the path of being a mercenary, as it reduces the number of friendly settlements, I would recommend removing this quest.As for the cleaver issue, I approve.
Regarding barbarian settlements, you can reject the quest of course. However, you can preserve the settlement if you challenge the chieftain to a fight. Only time that option is not available is if you get a free bro (and I find it a fair trade off - bro for a settlement).
Do note, that there are usually 8 starting barbarian settlements on the map you just have to find them. Plus a new release will give you an option to determine how many settlements you see at the start (the release should be available today).
