A meme mod that replaces the MP18’s bayonet with a weaponized assault compensator.

I brainstormed this utterly ridiculous mod in quadZe’s discord while attempting to figure out a mangled translation of a mod request. I think the original request was asking me to equip the MP18 with a flash hider, but the gun doesn’t have a barrel slot to attach one to without some kind of model hack that I’m not capable of doing.
I did figure out a frankly quite stupid workaround: replace the MP18’s unique bayonet model with a muzzle device. This has the issue that you would now be able to stab somebody with your not-sharp-at-all bayonetless MP18. Then I had the idea of using the LMG Compensator attachment, since it’s fairly pointy and you could theoretically stab someone with it (note: you can’t).
Well, one thing lead to another and now you can stab people with a pointy muzzle device mounted on an MP18. Isn’t modding just magical?
PSA: Because the MP18’s worldmodel wasn’t being cooperative you will only see the assault compensator in first person. Other people with bayoneted MP18s will use the actual bayonet model like normal.
Also comes with an alternate (read: boring) variant that uses the standard SMG flash hider (set to the same proportions as the Hellreigel’s flash hider), which is what the original requester actually wanted in the first place.
