is there some way (not too overly complicated) to change the commands under the "common commands" to be the commands you want rather than the ones that are there now? it would save a lot of scrolling up and down each time you start a map to have the ones you always use as a preset that way.
For Steam versions: I got an .exe download from here and followed the install instructions: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=425232058. If installed correctly, the console will appear as "Fake Console" in the menu when you hit Esc from inside a game. Works for me in singleplayer.
I tried downloading from this Nexus mod page and following the instructions, but that didn't work for me.
the installer is busted. I'm selecting the exact folder it's asking me (main bf2 directory) and it says the folder name is invalid. I thought it might be because it's called "battlefront II classic" instead of just "battlefront II", but that's not the case, I changed it and it still gives the same error.
So, does anyone know how to disable the God awful HUD that this patch included? I'm currently trying to decided if changing my skin is more important than my field of view. Spoiler alert: I've already decided and the answer is absolutely not.
Edit: Idiotic question - the installer has an option to disable 1.2 HUD. I suggest deleting the patch from the addon on file and reinstalling.
I'm still getting the award visual effects and sounds when I opt to turn them off in the installer. I've been told to run the menu batch file but it is nowhere to be found in the patch :(
Seems the ability to remove the rather ghastly HUD doesn't work despite removing it using the feature in the mod, which is frustrating as it makes the game practically unplayable.
I got the Steam version and I got the mod to work. It adds 2 tabs in the pause menu during game play. What I don't know is if this is the so called lite version?
