I really enjoy the increased fear/worry/tactics needed when faced with the dire threats posed by these changes, but the starting lance is well equipped and starting out is a little easier in my opinion.  You can still walk away with your mechs intact using this mod, but I never stopped worrying about the Panther hunting my Lights, when that Hunchback 4G popped out around a corner unexpected, or how brutal 4 Assaults versus 8 can be.  I hope you enjoy it.  There are so many great mods to use, try them all or change what you want to make it play the way you enjoy the game.

Includes parts of GT_WeaponDiversityPlus by Task2 (which also included JK_MinorAdjustments by JustinKaseToo).  Thanks, your mod saved a ton of time having the weapons already researched and available.

Intended to be used with BTML & ModTek

I used these Mods when playing/testing:
BasicPanicSystem
InnerSphereMap(and required mods)
RealHitChance (though it's all lies anyway...3 of 4 hit on 16%, cant hit anything at 74%, lol)

Summary of Changes:
- Primary Direct Damage Weapon Systems (ACs, Large Lasers, PPCs, and LosTech equivalents) damage has been doubled, on average.  Critical Chance and Stability modifiers slightly lowered on the upgraded versions.

- Support Weapon Systems (Missiles, Small and Medium lasers, etc.) have had their Critical Chance increased and in most cases kept vanilla stability damage.  Anti-personnel weapons also have slight damage increases.

Combat Changes:  Accuracy is the key; with the increased impact these main weapons systems can have, standing out in the open (even with bulwark) is not recommended.

- Base Accuracy: 60% (Vanilla 75%)
- All weapons ranges expanded to include medium range, accuracy lower at Medium and Long ranges
- Movement lowers accuracy (but will always grant at least 1 Evasion.)
- Indirect Fire has lower accuracy.
- Overheat lowers accuracy.
- Intervening Terrain lowers accuracy more.
- Damaged weapons accuracy lowered.
- Accuracy penalties based on Mech size removed.  Vehicles/Turrets at -1.  (They already don't move or don't move much)
- Evasion effects increased at 4 and higher evasion.  Evasion is not permanent.
- Accuracy bonus from Morale effects lowered.  Morale gain lowered. (communications equipment is more important)
- Guardian and Angel ECM Suites added (individual mech bonus only) for Head slots. (have to choose between defense, comms, or head injury prevention)
- Thunder LRMs (damage legs, slows target movement)
- Hardened, Laser Reflective, and Reactive Armor available
- Gyros that affect defensive hit have tonnage requirements. (to balance with ECM effects)

- No changes to Head Hits, but slightly better chances of surviving (pair with BasicPanicSystem mod and they may save themselves!)

Economic Changes:  Due to the brutal effect this has when you get caught with your pants down, modification to the economy was required due to the higher turn over rate of personnel and equipment.  In general:

- Financial requirements change to quarterly basis (120 days).  (I find this work well with Inner Sphere Map's longer distances, as well as the economy changes, more pilots to feed (if they live long enough), browsing markets for that rare item, etc)

- Second hand market is booming with sell price increase to 30%.  Scrapping mechs is still 10%.  (works great with Broken Salvaged Mechs, can actually make a little if repair/sell)

- Contract pay and base salvage rights increased.

- Habitat Pods now hold 12 mechwarriors (you might need a few replacements)

- Increased amounts of weapons and equipment available, frequency in shops and salvage increased.  LosTech will show up in shops (and salvage) occasionally, just hope you have the c-bills. (Includes GT_WeaponDiversity weapons adjusted to fit this mod as well as additional weapons and equipment)

- Black market adjustments (wider variety of gear including jury rigged Pirate gear, not that Yang will appreciate it.)

- Mechs and MechParts available more often in case you have the c-bills and are unlucky with salvage.

- Missions can include Mechs using upgraded gear and upgraded Turrets/additional vehicles.  (Partisan, Saladin, etc.)

Future plans are to expand shops to use more planetary variables and further customize shops to various factions than just the big four.
Please let me know if there are any problems.
