I've never understood the videogame convention of adding black bars to the top and bottom of the screen during cutscenes at the best of times, but the ones in Bioshock are particularly obnoxious. Seriously, they take up nearly half the screen!
Well no more! This mod will remove those pesky black bars and allow you to enjoy the Bioshock cutscenes in glorious 16:9 aspect ratio!
And yes, I will be uploading a Fullscreen Cutscenes mod for Bioshock 2 Remastered soon!
NOTE: This mod requires replacing the file HUDPC.swf in the FlashMovies folder with my one. This means any existing HUD mods you have installed will be overwritten - including my other mod, the 'Deep Pockets HUD' mod. For this reason I've made a 'combo' mod that contains a HUDPC.swf file with the modifications for both Fullscreen Cutscenes and the Deep Pockets HUD and included it in the .rar file. I've also included instructions for how to modify your own HUDPC.swf file to achieve the same results while retaining any existing mods you might already have installed (such as the 'GUI Fixes' pack).
