Instead of begging the mod creator to update his mod, you could just downgrade your version of BlackMythWukong to the version that UE4SS still supports using the console. The latest UE4SS for Wukong is only compatible with the 29 August 2024 patch. Be aware that downgrading will most likely result in you loosing your save data as the old Wukong can't read the latest Wukong's save file.
if you're not using c:\ to run the game, you'll need to make a junction to the location you're storing Wukong game.
Delete contents of updated Wukong folder.
open Command Prompt and enter mklink /j "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_2358720\depot_2358721" PATH_TO_YOUR_WUKONG_FOLDER
for example: mklink /j "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_2358720\depot_2358721" "E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\BlackMythWukong"
You'll need to set the junction's permission to avoid steam deleting the junction and creating a folder in it's place. In properties of the junction, go to the Security tab. Click on Advanced, Disable Inheritance. Select "Convert inherited permissions into explicit permissions for this object. Insure that "Replace the child entries..." is not selected. Double click each entry in the list of users and set the permissions. Allow "Read & Execute, List folder content, Read" but leave "Write and Modify" unchecked. Press Apply when you're finished.
if you're using c:\ to run your steam games, just copy contents of "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_2358720\depot_2358721" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BlackMythWukong"
windows Run steam://open/console
in the console paste: download_depot 2358720 2358721 6731736344683312223
It should download all 128GB of the August 29 version. Install UE4SS as normal.
Hi guys ! After I download this mod, now when I play the game have a little lag, sometime slow or stone about 30 second. And I open the Trainer and can't use anything, only can use run fast or jump high, anything else won't work, and the console say like this don't understand. Can somebody help me out ? thanks
