   if you know what show this is from if not its "bleach" could you add a getsuga tensho basically it shoots a beam of sorts out of the sword and can cut things in half (limbs mostly) love the sword tho

   thats just the shikai, zangetsu, not the bankai, tensa zangetsu

      I was just going off of what the requestor told me. So, it's a Shikai or Shikai Zangetsu?

      alright, bear with me for i am about to go in to hard detail. This sword is actually called a zanpakuto. zanpakutos are manifested spirits of every soul reaper. they live and die with their soul reapers. an unreleased form of a soul reaper's zanpakuto will appear as a normal katana. the released form of a zanpakuto is called Shikai. "Zangetsu" is the NAME of Ichigo's zanpakuto. This sword that you see now is Zangetsu in his Shikai form. the second stage of release is called Bankai. Bankai is as shunsui describes it as their Ace in the hole, or trump card. Bankai is the most powerful release state of a soul reaper's zanpakuto. Ichigo's Bankai is called Tensa Zangetsu. Tensa Zangetsu appears as a pure black katana with a tsuba in the shape of a Manji symbol (no it is not a f*#@ing swastika). i'd definitely reccomend watching bleach entirely to better understand the zanpakutos.       the sword is like a living thing it can change depending on the wielders need or want of it.
