Goro Majima (真島 吾朗, Majima Gorō) is a recurring major character in the Yakuza series series first introduced in the original Yakuza. He is featured as a playable protagonist in Yakuza 0, Yakuza: Dead Souls, and the "Majima Saga" in Yakuza Kiwami 2, a supporting character in Yakuza, Yakuza 2, Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and a major character in Yakuza 5.
Kazuma Kiryu (桐生 一馬, Kiryū Kazuma), also known as Joryu (浄龍, Jōryū) or Taichi Suzuki (鈴木 太一, Suzuki Taichi), is the former primary protagonist of the Like a Dragon (formerly Yakuza) series. He is featured as a protagonist and playable character in Yakuza 0, Yakuza/Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza 2/Yakuza Kiwami 2, Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, Yakuza 5, Yakuza 6, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, and Like a Dragon 8. He also appears as a supporting character in Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
