Version 2
CRT Curved preset was improved by using a separate filter for curvature for more control and to get rid of the circular reflections. I had made an error on the NTSC filter as well and decided to upgrade to the better Guest Advanced NTSC filter with more options and added things like NTSC oversaturation, bleed, and added noise among other things. Due to both fixes I was also able to upload a new NTSC curved option.
This mod is a CRT filter using a CRT Royale Port to reshade made by TroggleMonkey. CRT-Royale is a highly advanced multi-pass CRT shader that simulates almost every aspect of the CRT screen. It is one of the most realistic filters available. I did not create the filter or port but simply made two plug and play resets to work with blasphemous that I like much better than the default options and what was already available here on nexus mods. I changed the CRT gamma option to be consistent with the main game with the filters off. I used this filter on blasphemous 1 and it also works nicely on Blasphemous 2 which for some reason does not offer any in game CRT filters
I have included four options. One for simulating a flat CRT screen and one for simulating a curved CRT screen, the other two are the flat and curved filter with an additional NTSC filter that is a port of the Guest-Advanced NTSC filter that will cause additional NTSC/Composite cable artifacting (it mainly ups saturation, bleed, and adds noise in among other things)
The basic options are closest to CRT option 2 in Blasphemous 1 (especially the curved one) and the NTSC versions are closest to CRT option 4 in Blasphemous 1.
If you have never used reshade before it is actually very easy and simple. (the presets included on this mod make it plug and play)
If you want to toggle the filter on and off, you can do so by hitting the HOME key. If you want to change the filter settings/key binds hit the END key.
Due to the complexity of this CRT filter it is actually somewhat resource intensive. If your PC is lacking in the horsepower department you can go into the settings via the END key and toggle on performance mode for less resources (with less quality on the filter)
Please note that the CRT Royale filter does the best at 1440p resolutions and up. It is not recommended for 1080p and below. Also for best results disable VSYNC.
Installation: Drop files and folder into the main/root folder of blasphemous 2
Note this filter is compatible with the ultrawide mod as well (as well as the unmodded vanilla game as well)
