Hi! I really liked your mod, so I made both a compatibility patch to use it alongside Dommo goomab's Xbox (and Switch) UI for Bloodborne mod, and a full Spanish translation. Would you like to add the translation to your files?
Thanks for translating, I really appreciate it! I think I might actually prefer how you have it as a separate mod now, since it shows up under the translations section anyway. Less coordination required for doing releases that way.
just a fyi for anyone who uses the xbox/playstaton/switch controller ui, no need for any special version just install it AFTER you copy the "bloodborn enhanced" modded files to your dvdroot_ps4 folder, the file its replacing is literally just controller and icon images
through your creation of this mod I assume youve gotten pretty damn familiar with the ins and outs of bloodbornes systems. im trying to make a bit of a ranged weapon overhaul but im running into an issue trying to create a right hand version of bone marrow ash. namely, the new buff i created does get applied to the right hand weapon, but there is no detection when a trick weapon fires a bullet to clear the buff and shoot the 'special' variant of the bullets with extra damage. I dont suppose you had a look at BMA while you were doing your bolt tool and fire tool at all? I thought it might be an event trigger in the tae or something but adding the missing events that exist in the hunters pistol tae didn't seem to do anything so wondering if you might be able to shed any insight on this matter :)
Unfortunately, I don't know much about that. Doing a quick look, I see that speffect 2230 applies the effect and 2231 normally removes it, but you likely already knew about those. What have you done so far to make the effect apply to the right hand?
so i created a duplicate entry of 2230 to act as the right hand buff, changed the appropriate flags from left hand to right hand, and made a new vfx entry for the new speffect so it applies to the right hand instead of the left. this is how I know that the duplicate buff IS being applied to both hands. what is escaping me is what exactly triggers on a shot to turn 2230 into 2231 and register firing the 'special' variant of the bullet instead of the regular 1. the buff applies to the right hand but never gets triggered, so I had to temporarily do a hacky version that modifies the base dmg to achieve the same effect, but this is obviously less than ideal.
side question, are your lamp edits located only in the menu and script files or does it also require params? its a really great quality of life option and im wondering how possible it would be to isolate as an option just for when not wanting to play with all of BBE active.

Incredible mod. It's actually one of those mods I can't play vanilla without with how amazing the ease of access to things and extra things you've added to increase the experience to this wonderful game. So many amazing QoL changes, I barely go back to Hunters Dream.
Is there a way to mix this mod with other mods? Anytime I'm trying to add other mods i'm having conflicting files, and unfortunately usually bricks a feature from working or makes Lamps interactive. Only mod i can seem to get working with it is the Vertex Explosion fix.
EDIT: noticed Blood Vials and Bullets do not get replenished automatically inside Chalice Dungeons after Resting at a lamp.
to expand upon the restock thing, blood vials and bullets seem to ONLY restock inside the hunters dream, regardless of what settings are on with this mod.
This mod seemingly works well with the Magnum Opus Project Beast mod, but the change of lamp apperance conflicts with the same change on Project Beast. Is it possible to remove only this from the files, but keep everything else?
The problem started with the 6th game archive, where every time you entered the game or teleported, the “Prey Slaughtered” sign and sound would appear, which should normally only appear after defeating a boss. The first six archives on the other hand still run fine without any errors!
incredible mod. blew me and my brothers minds as we tried it out and discovered all the features. fixed practically every issue I had with the core of the game and added things I didn't know I even wanted. including the door between the great bridge and cathedral ward! you are amazing. thank you from a long time Bloodborne player.
This mod makes the entire area of Nightmare of Mensis completely covered in dark fog, even though I have Visual Effects disabled. I only have this mod enabled, and uninstalling the mod fixes the problem. Using version 0.8 of this mod also doesn't cause this problem since there isn't a Visual Effects option, but all later versions do. Any thoughts on why this happens and how to fix it? Thank you!
Update: For anyone else having this problem, the BBEnhancedSettings GUI didn't seem to work for me, even after several attempts. Enabling/disabling other settings seemed to work just fine. I ended up having to use the doll in the Hunter's Dream to disable the Visual Effects, then it worked properly.

I'll look into the chalice dungeon restock issue.
