Q: After updating to 1.4.0 I cannot access Forgotten Eridian Ruins shop. A: You either installed UI Icon Resource mod incorrectly or you have conflict with other mods. Check out the bugs tab for reference.
Q: Does this mod work in multiplayer? A: Yes it does, but some weapons will work correctly only for the host. Also all players need to have exactly the same version of the files to be able to join.
I also have essentials core installed. disabled it but the shop still doesn't show a button to interact. just shows "Shop[]" The artifact is pearl color though when essentials is turned off
i had a very similar issue, where I couldn't get the portal shop opening despite having all the required/relevant mods installed. uninstalled and reinstalled everything from a fresh download (following the updated installation video by Mithril, his video installed essentials last) and had the red/pink artifact and the portal shop still failed to open, went back and reinstalled the UI Icon Resource again (this time it was the latest mod installed) and while essentials mod broke entirely, the artifact was the proper pearlescent color and icon in shops (matching what SleepMaster shows in the relevant bug report) and the Portal shop FINALLY opened for the 1st time for me. only took 7 portals and rotating the mod installation list (steam player not using any kind of mod hub for a load order system). feels bad to have so many portals across 3 days of play to finally get a functioning shop
I did a fresh install of everything minus essentials and the shop still showed no button to open it. Everything else worked fine. But I am using the FOV version of the UI Icons mod. I'll try the "full" version when I get home from work this afternoon and see if the shop has a button to open it.
Hey, I wonder how this mod interacts with dedicated drops? I see that there are no file conflicts, but do an y inconsistencies occur (like getting a legacy eridian weapon from a dedicated drop)?
Eridian Weapons Overhaul uses completely separate loot pool that is activated with a skill (something like Mordecai's Ransack), so it should not conflict with Dedicated Drops.
As for vanilla Eridian weapons dropping, that occurs when you play normal game too, for example you can get vanilla Eridian gun when you open a red chest.
I do work on a separate mod that allows Eridian Weapons Overhaul stuff to drop from enemies, chests and shops. It needs way more balancing, but I will release it eventually.

dont know if i missed it in the description but what are the pearls and legendries ? i only got a small handful and i wanna make a checklist of them, havent got a single pearl to drop yet sadly, but after 50 ish hours i got 1 portal to drop but i sadly was way to underlveled to buy anything.
also the corrsive trinity legendary is busted broken. fun though, gotta be one of the most unique legendaries in the game.
as for the trinity, i think a hard 15% ish damage nerf should be fine. currently i have a corrosive one that deletes enemies fast, honestly its better than the pestilence damage wise, i personally think such a good aoe weapon shouldn't do more damage than a pestilence even though it has a ...4% drop chance divided by legendary loot pool
its all good if youre busy, i get it . i aint gonna pester you about it. one last question, will you ever adjust loot pools for enemies like guardians or craw so they have a increased drop of eridian weapons o in craws case, always drops one eridain weapon but has a boosted chance to drop a pearl, like .1 to ---> 1.0% ? or is that just something hard coded you cant mess with ?
With this mod it's impossible to make different drops for different enemies. The chance is exactly the same for every enemy.
But I am working on a different mod that makes enemies use Eridian weapons and gear, Eridian stuff drop in chests and from Crawmerax. It is working pretty well so far, but I need to find sweet spot with the drop rates.
sounds cool, cant wait, if only we had more borderlands modders like you, that can drop game changing mods like this. but im from the fnv modding sphere, i know that stuff gotta be hard af to make
Hello, I am having some sort of issues. I have installed the mod as per instructions, and downloaded the save file I need to start it. Problem I have is that it crashes as soon as I load up the save file. Is there a way I can get this mod working?

I really like this. Fixed the biggest disappointment in the game for me and allowed for an eridian only playthrough. However, I have to say that while this is great, I feel like it might have made eridian weapons too good. Especially in the early game, I find that they're LEAGUES above any ordinary weapon I can get, especially with infinite ammo. With my most recent run, I almost immediately got a blue electric scrambler which carried me up to Krom before I had to get a better gun. I didn't even have to have any other weapons equipped, everything just died almost instantly to it. Then I got a seraph which lasted until the end of the game and was even still good against crawmerax despite being fifteen levels under him. I don't know if I just got lucky or what, but they have been ridiculously strong.
Thanks for the feedback. I think you rolled really good parts for it to carry you like that. But the same can be said about vanilla Anarchy SMGs or Hellfire (that happend to me during one of my playthroughs). They can carry you throughout half of the game.
It's rather fault of the game balance in it's core than these modded weapons,
I am really trying to make these weapons feel as balanced as possible because I know OP guns are fun for like 5 minutes and later they start to feeling boring.
Right now I am working on a Rebalance mod that will make enemies more challenging. So maybe when the mod is out it will adress your issues.
gonna have to agree with op here, Eridian weapons are kind of wack scaling now ive had time to mess with them, about 24 in game hours in and any Eridian weapon thats blue or above can oft clean house and carrier harder than most legendaries. got a blue Eridian electric sniper that trivialized guardians and crimson lance and it was lvl 20.... about 15 ish lvls under. they can almost outperform the double anarchy when matching elements
imo most weapons are all over the place in terms of damage, but the eridian weapons generally are heavy hitters on the end of the damage curb close to hellfire/pestilence damage when matching.
I love this mod , got introduced to it via Joltzdudes vid, and wanted to try it out for myself as I always found the Eridian guns neat in concept but not nearly as cool in practice. However this mod makes it so they live up to their potential and I love it so far! Been trying to get all of the legendaries and pearlescents to see what they do, and so I can create lists of all of em (alongside all the prefixes and non standard gun names like the mangler/disc/laser etc) XD Nothing like a list for me haha. Not even close to getting em all (only just started the task) but can't wait to experience all the guns for myself :)
I saw you mentioned you were working on Eridian Class Mods which will be cool. I was wondering if you would be working on shields too? Completely understandable if not as I imagine all of this is a lot of work, and either way I am grateful for all you've done in making this. Thanks for the great mod :)
As for the list you mentioned I am actually working on an Excel table that contains all parts, prefixes and titles with stats and explaination what they do.
Speaking of shields I am working on them right now, I had a big roadblock with material not working correctly and I had to fiddle with texture alignment to make it work. But I managed to deal with it pretty recently, so you can expect update with shields pretty soon.
My ideas for what Eridian shields should do:
Huge capacity
Slow recharge delay
Max hp reduction
So basically with Eridian shields you are gonna be very tanky, but the moment that shield goes down you are very likely to die.
I need to find that sweet spot where these shields balanced, and that requires a lot of testing.
As for the Classmods I have a lot of ideas, but they require a lot of development time, so first I am gonna release update with shields.
I already created Barrier shields, that provide armor instead of shield. They provide increased resistance to everything but corrosive attacks deal increased damage to them.
I just started but I was using the guns given to Lilith. The Eridian pistol & smg/ar. I grabbed a vanilla sniper from a chest and moved normal speed, but when I save quit, even the sniper was making me move slow. I am using the Lilith save from the given save files.

The load order should not matter really, as far as I know Eridian Weapons Overhaul doesn't conflict with anything.

Which weapon exactly does slow you down?
