Hi! I'm not sure if I'll get a response, but I'm curious anyway. I play on Steam Deck and have been modding the game through there. Is this add-on available through the SDK system or is it a separate thing? If so, what separate method is it and would it be compatible with the Deck? If you don't know, thanks anyway, was worth the shot at curiosity. Have a good one!
Don't know anything about the Steam Deck, but this mod is loaded through the regular old hotfix method of activating a txt file in the main menu. As long as you can access the dev console, you should be set.
Get OpenBlcmm they have a github page linked in their modpage and that has a variation for steamdeck that lets you use .blcm files and .txt files essentially plug and play.
Also grab the Commands Plus or whatever its called from the PythonSDK database so you can properly execute the text mod or .blcm of your choice.. or .html etc etc.
Hey, downloaded it today, having an issue where the currencies are not giving me what i chose, instead much less. I chose 50 mil and am only getting 240000, chose 500 eridium and im only getting 12. any fixes?
"After you spawn into "Fight for Sanctuary", be sure to travel to another map so that your currencies and such save. Then you can exit and reselect the character to choose the playthrough."
Sounds like you haven't been saving before you exit the character, I think those amounts you listed are what show up in vanilla (240,000, 12).
I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "saving the file through BLCMM." You pick what you want in the mod with BLCMM and save it (At the top of BLCMM, hit File, then Save), then run the mod in BL2 and pick your character you want boosted. Run it like you would any other mod. In this case, you'd run "exec CustomizableBoostedCharacters.txt" (without the quotes) in the console.
It isn't automatically set to your level, you need to open up the "Better Gear" folder and pick the level that matches the one you choose for your character.
After you've executed the file in the game's console menu, load the character of your choice. When you appear in "Fight for Sanctuary", (only) if you want to adjust your character's overpower level, use that command I pasted on the description page.
Yeah. Then import it into your typical mod list in BLCMM, or just run it separately and get your character made, then exit and re-launch BL2 and run your normal stuff.

After that, execute the file in the game's console menu. And if all of this sounds like gibberish, look up a video on using BL2 mods.
2. What console command is used to execute the file in-game?
