-
-
Version 0.3.2
- - fixed an issue that caused the Rico's secondary projectiles to deal no damage
- - the Leeroy is now a guaranteed drop from Jimmy Jenkins
-
Version 0.3.1
- Fixed an issue that prevented the mod from appearing in the modlist.
-
Version 0.3.0
- Arcania 0.3 is finally here, featuring a ton of new items, changes to existing ones, and much more!
- General changes:
- - Arcania now features a Python script that runs together with the text portion of the mod, thus requiring TextModLoader as an additional dependency. Installing Arcania now works like installing any other SDK mod.
- - A big portion of Arcania’s items have been rewritten, or changed to a point where updating from 0.2 to 0.3 would break or straight up delete them. It is highly recommend to start a new character on the new version of the mod, unless you don’t mind losing your items or having them change in unintended ways, like having parts they should not have.
- - Custom item rarities have been removed. Items that are only obtainable from a specific source are now blue uniques; weapons that had their rarity downgraded this way have had stats adjusted to compensate for it. Items that can be obtained from a certain loot source as well as world drop sources are legendary or pearlescent rarity. Raid boss-specific drops are seraph rarity.
- - Introducing: dynamic spawns and dynamic loot pools! Certain enemies will now respawn only after completion of the side mission related to them. Arcania quest rewards now become farmable from a specific enemy or boss after the mission has been completed – check the loot sources in the spreadsheet. Note: In order to have the loot pools and spawns function properly, a map reload is required.
- - Arcania now features improved weapon cards. They are now decluttered – that means removing redundant/obvious effects written out on the cards (stuff like ‘+50% weapon damage’ or ‘Fires as fast as you can pull the trigger’) and changing the presentations for some stats to be more visually appealing. This applies to both vanilla and Arcania gear. Arcania guns with non-obvious effects now feature a short description of said effect on the weapon card.
- - Salvador off-hand fixes. Man, was that a pain in the butt… :D Arcania guns now function much, much less wonky when held in Salvador’s offhand. Skills activated by guns no longer go away completely when you Gunzerk with two of the same skill gun and unequip one. More info on changes to particular gun skills in the Sal Offhand Fixes section.
- - Custom enemies are finally here!... sort of. Well, one custom enemy. In Southern Shelf – Bay’s Ebonfloe area, two named badass bullymongs called The Arctic Apes lurk around, ready to kick an unprepared vault hunter’s ass. If you manage to slay them though, you have a chance at obtaining a new legendary item! Stay tuned for more custom enemies in future updates.

- Gear changes:
- • Overhauls:
- - EMR completely reworked. Now called Waverider. Rarity changed to blue unique, removed from world drop pools. Now Incendiary only. Now fires slow bullets that additionally spawn two extra horizontally oscillating shock bullets.
- - Troll completely reworked. Now a Tediore rocket launcher instead of a Vladof one. Now uses the Bandit launcher barrel and features massively increased damage at the cost of fire rate.
- - Flamewaker completely reworked. Now features a DAHL barrel instead of a Bandit one, heavily increased damage and mag size, and slightly increased fire rate. No longer fires 6 bullets for 4 ammo; now a close range flamethrower that fires slow flame projectiles that explode upon enemy contact or after a short while into incendiary pure splash damage. Now consumes 2 ammo per shot.
- - Titus completely reworked. No longer features the ‘overcharge’ mechanic. Now fires hectically behaving, ricocheting, explosive bullets with a chance to fire twice, fire up to 2 extra pellets, or increase explosion damage and radius on impact.
- - Trout completely reworked. No longer deals splash. Now has reduced base damage, which increases significantly while aiming down sights. While aiming down sights with the Trout, you cannot move. While holding the Trout, the first round fired from a full magazine deals 200% more damage.
- - Blazing Tempest reworked. Now fixed shock element with incendiary splash (previously fixed incendiary with shock splash). Effect capped at 250 stacks. Each stack grants +0,5% fire rate, +1% weapon damage, and +1 magazine size. Individual stacks don't have duration. Critical hits no longer grant additional stacks. Stacks start decaying after you don't deal damage for 5 seconds at the rate of 20 stacks per second.
- - Prism reworked. No longer uses splits. Now fires 13 pellets for 2 ammo and can spawn with the vertical grip accessory for +2 pellet count. Each bullet is of a random element.
- - Spook reworked. Now corrosive only. Now a blue unique instead of a legendary, removed from world drop pools. Now only spawns ghosts on kills with bullets. Ghosts now deal 500% of your weapon damage as corrosive rocket damage in an increased radius instead of shock damage based on... map level. :D
- - Disturbance reworked. Now works with any critical hits and not just sniper rifle critical hits. The explosion's damage is no longer based on weapon damage; now it's equal to the damage of the hit that triggered it.
- - Jesse and James reworked. Reduced Jesse's reload speed and damage. James no longer only works while holding the Jesse; instead it provides a flat +2 magazine size bonus to every weapon. Bonus crit removed. Absorb chance slightly reduced.
- - Alchemist reworked. Now features a Tediore barrel instead of an e-tech one with stats adjusted accordingly. Now fires slow, arcing, explosive bullets instead of spinning plasma ones. Thrown reload now deals explosive impact damage and random element splash damage. Splash damage increased for bullet explosions. Splash radius increased for both bullet and reload explosions.
- - Boost's Benevolence reworked. Now works with any damage dealt and not just bullet damage. The bonus damage is now a percentage of the initial hit's damage.
- - Social Psycho no longer uses a skill to gain boosts from roid damage; instead it uses an initialization in the projectile's damage formula to prevent transferring the effect to other weapons. Now can't roll the double and accuracy accessories which would overlap the blade.
- • Rarity Changes:
- - Snakebite now a blue unique; removed from world drop pools
- - Eastwood now a blue unique; removed from world drop pools

- - Fractal's magazine size now fixed at 3 instead of 1. Now consumes 3 ammo per shot instead of 4.
- - Berserker now gives you a stack for taking damage from a neutral source, such as a barrel. Stacks now also increase accuracy.
- - Encircled's pattern slightly tightened
- - Scrooge's grenade capacity no longer affected by grades. Now a fixed +3
