      That’s a bug with the game. I had the same issue at some point, though, I’m not sure what causes it.

      actually not sure if its this mod as it could just be a coincidence but whenever i exit the boys dorm my game goes black then crashes

      Usually occurs with the HD textures mod.

      Verify the game files on Steam, that will restore the original video files.

      I've seen this happening to me before both vanilla and upscaled videos, it's a hit-and-a-miss bug that occurs out of no where.

       Very late, I know, I haven't been active on here.
       
       This should work on R* Launcher's version of the game, if they follow the same file structure.
