This doesn't work for me. All my workshop add on cars have like 8 variations and my junkyard is full of the DLC cars. In the normal files, I deleted the junkyard location as well as the auction location for my DLC cars, but they still show up. I then used your app and they were already unselected, but I used your app anyways and saved and they are still all in the junkyard. What's going on here and how do I remove all my DLC cars from the junkyard?
The issue is that when I edit cars (using the game, not this mod) and I tell the car not to spawn in say wrecking yards and auction... I double and triple check where the car is to spawn and still spawns in Auctions and etc. anyway. Without using this mod.
It looks like the tool is messing around with prices of some cars. Two days ago i bought some cars in the auction and some had really strange values like parts- and bodyvalue -2,1 billion. So i did a complete fresh reinstall of the game and the workshop. (Prices were normal after this). I tested again changing the allowed places of the cars and they had again these strange values. (Pics of that are in the RDG-discord, workshop-mods-channel)
This is still happening. I figure out that the mod removes the point on the property "uniqueMod" increasing the multiplicator for the price of the car. Do you think that can be fixed?
Hello, I installed this utility on my son's computer. All the cars in the game were listed. We un-checked all boxes for all cars, then checked the Salon/Barn/Auction/Junkyard boxes for just the cars he wanted to work on. Did a Save then existed the utility.
Started the game but it looks like nothing has changed. All the various cars are still in the Auctions/barn/junkyard. Any idea what the problem could be?
I tested the mod today. The GUI works, i see all cars from the original gamefolder and all cars from the workshop. I unchecked every car i don't wanna see at the auctions anymore. The problem is now i see even more cars although they are unchecked. Thats kind of weird.
Edit: I checked again something. Looks like the mod only works for "Car Auctions" and not for "Salvage Cars". On "Car Auctions" i have only 11 pages and on first view it looks like there are only cars, which are checked in the mod. On "Salvage Cars" i have over 40 pages that include cars which are unchecked in the mod. I recorded a small video to show it better. https://youtu.be/NUsJR5n54lI
Edit 2: I found out what the reason is. The junkyard is connected to the salvage auction. I just unchecked every car on junkyard and checked only those that i checked for auction. Now i only see those in the salvage auction.
Sorry, I am not quite sure how to use this though I read the instructions and assume it goes in the steam mods download folter :\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1190000 and I don't actually understand how to run it.
Once you have started the application, you want to click File > Open and then select your CMS2021 install directory. It will then ask you if you have steam workshop content. If you have, press yes and then it will ask if you have steam installed in the default location. If you select yes, it will automatically pull all workshop cars from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1190000" If you select no, you will have to manually select the folder where your workshop content is.
Does that make sense?

My game is installed in another directory and the exe and other files did nothing when unzipped so must have been a corrupt download. Another download and runs now. I would add to the instructions and maybe a step by step. 1. 2. 3. Thank you!
The problem is that the mod try to find the workshop content on the original folder even when you select the folder on your another drive.
The error message:
"Could not find a part of the path "E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\1190000\Car Mechanic Simulator 2021_Data\StreamAssets\Cars."
As the message shows, the mod try to add the original car files on the path for the modded cars... I think it'll be simple to fix it... ( As I'm fixing some simillar here now from work )
Hi there. I am aware of the workshop folder issue and I am currently implementing a fix as well as implementing a config menu where you can manually configure the paths to your workshop content. Hopefully will release it in the next few days. I appreciate the feedback!
Hi would like report a bug : the mod don't load the barn y/n for each car. This because you programmed only the word 'shed' . As all the cars have 'barn' in the config it's currently not correct loading the data. Can you change this, as it is a great mod! Thanks for making this.
Request : why not implement the order level , this makes use of your mod even better.
Request order level : With the order level I mean the option you can change when the car will be available in the game, measured by the number of orders you have done. To see a graphical representation see the picture of tk3r his prototype of the car manager. There you see it represented.
Hi I would like to report a serious bug which is also mentioned in the mod from BlackRock1207 :
Car values become too high and unrealistic after installing and using your mod. You can now buy vehicles in the junkyard for the same price as a new one in the salon.
It seems that the uniquemod option in your utility is causing this bug, and need to be totally disabled or removed. ( actually I don't understand why you implemented it, as it is of no use for the purpose you created this for)

Appreciate it! It was initially a challenge I set for myself to improve my C# and GUI skills! I plan to improve the tool and optimise it, maybe even eventually turn it into a full CMS car manager that allows for editing save files. It is a shame you're not sure if you will finish your car manager. I would have loved to see it! Especially since I think your aftermarket and basic mods are really cool! I would love to get into the world of melonloader/bepinex modding but I just can't quite grasp it as of right now...
