I used ChronoMod to press CTRL+P to patch the game with the CTP file, and then i clicked save. It did not work and the sprites have stayed the same though. Is there some step im missing?
EDIT: Ok so you have to play with graphics mode on "original" not "enhanced". I dont know if this is mentioned somewhere but i did not see that. Please consider adding that to the instructions section for people like me lol. Thanks for the mod man it looks much better!
So I installed the mod and Crono's overworld appearance changed, but his appearance in the menu screens stayed the same. Is there any way to update both?
The author contacted me a while ago asking for permission on using my sprite coloring for his mod... so it might be related since they are showing a screenshot of the menu with proper colors as well...
Is the updated version just a CTP version of the original version? Or has the content changed? Just wondering if there would be any reason for me to use the update if I already have the original version applied to my resources.bin.
its the same sprite sheet.... the reason being that the new update breaks some stuff if you use mods with the ressource.bin extracted like I originally suggested... thats why I uploaded a CTP version of the mod compatible with the 2 mod installer/patcher :)
Just stumbled across the discord from the first time and saw the link to this. Thanks so much for this mod. I'm going to dl this and give it a try later.
The butchered color palette was one of my main gripes for the PC version. I tried various shading tools but could never get it quite right. Thanks again!
wait! does Chrono Trigger for PC have mod support now? that's amazing! i hope somebody modifies the battle UI to put the HP and MP bars where they belong
yeah there are about 15-20 mods on our discord server... some changes UI and fonts i think.... I personally did this mod as "comission work" for one of our users who really wanted a color change to remove the "yellow" skintone of the main character...
I invited all our users to posts mods here, but I cant do it for them... in the meanwhile, feel free to join our discord server and check out the other mods! You can join the the VG Research & Modding Discord Group with this link here : https://discord.gg/bSnpVBV

If you are on the discord, be sure to send a thank you to "AzureAragami" as he is the one who paid me to create this color palette fix :)
