You could try downloading an older version of 3/4UC from CivFanatics and see if that works. I haven't tested myself but v83 and v84 are the ones that came out closest to VP 2.7.3 you could try them out :)
Hello, First and foremost thank you for your time and effort in creating this mod. I followed your directions and placed the MOD folder in the appropriate file path, as well as the the 3 other folders in the DLC file path. I am not seeing any mods to enable in the in-game mod manager. I did select DLC in the mod manager, but I do not think those are related and they didn't look like they were. I've attached a screenshots where the UI is not showing any stats on the upper left corner, as well as the empty in-game mod manager and paths where I installed your mod. I assume this is because the mod isn't activated, but I do not have an option to activate. I did a hard uninstall of the game, cleared cache on steam, reinstalled the game and your files to no avail. Please see them images below for reference. Can you please advise on how to proceed?
But playing my first game I encountered some very odd behaviour of several civs who seemingly wont ever build a settler.
In my game (Immortal difficulty, marathon speed) Songhai, Arabai and Egypt simply wont expand. They got the tech for settler but havent founded a single city by turn 300. They got plenty of room too, basically all of Africa and the Middle east, still the literlly just will built up the capital (including producing food if running out of bulidings to build) and do nothing else.
What could be going on? Other cives like chian or India alread habe 4-5 cities.
Sorry im little bit stupid everything looks incredible but after you drop the mods and do all the installing etc. how you set up the game with everything on?
I have tried to start it from single player and from mods but i dont understand how you do it?
Hi The Gedemon's YNAEMP - Giant map works fine but non of the strategic or luxury resources get loaded even if I use the ingame editor the resources wont load.
I just ran into an issue and can't seem to find any info on it. I keep crashing to desktop on one specific turn. It seems to be because of the city-state that was recently captured by barbarians. No matter what I do prior to that turn, as soon as the barbarian's actions comes up the game immediately crashes. Is there anything I can change or add to fix this? I'm just worried the same issue will occur in future games.
Also I don't have any extra mods installed, just what what was included here.
never encountered this problem before..... I have seen Barbarians capture AI civ city and city-state city and no crash. Civ5 is an old 32bit game so sometimes these crashes happen, maybe don't move the camera or click around too much during AI turn.
Yea I started a another game where they took a city-state, but I didn't have any crashes. Still that one save just crashes on their action, so I have no clue. Just a lost game i guess. Thanks for the the reply and the mod-pack!
2.7.3 is the last VP version (it is also the last 2.x.x version) that works with the mods you described above, as well as the Events & Decisions (people have reported VP 4.15.x crash with that mod), Extra Community Events mod .etc. I believe 3.x.x changed the VP Happiness mechanics and some other stuff so it broke a lot of mods.
Yes, I did go through each of the VP patches and fix the bugs they fixed myself by going through the GitHub page. Of course, there are new stuff in VP 3.x and 4.x that are not in 2.7.3 obviously, but imho a unique improvement for China or a Bastion building is negligible when compared to all the mods that stop being supported after 2.7.3. I think 2.7.3 is a good place overall with everything you can enjoy that Vox Populi has to offer.
Feel free to try and use 4.16 (the newest one now) but I think you will get crash. Until the original modders come back and update their mods, this is the best we gonna get.
are we supposed to use vox populi 1.5 or vox populi 1.7? Also I get lots and lots of UI issues. What should be the mod setup and how can I fix the constant UI problems? some regular UI issues include but not limited to pop up issues related to text fonts
the stable VP version that I use is already included in this mod collection. You need to move the UI folders to the right location to fix UI. Info is on the main description page.
unfortunately Vox Populi uses DLL modding so there is no way to play 43 civ DLL with VP active at the same time. I think you can try the JFD YNAEMP mod instead, I think that one accounts for VP DLL modding, not sure.
But I installed the 43 Civ option in the Vox Populi latest version on top of your version and all seems to work fine. Is there a particular conflict there? Im already playing with 26 Civs in the TSL map and seems to work fine.

But the description also says bug fixes up to VP 4.15.2. What does this mean?
Can I use latest VP together with EAW and ENW?
