You mean Russia is doing to Ukraine. And if you think that Russia is in the right then you are misinformed. Any country that's that large doesn't need to conquer any other countries. Period. There's such thing as peaceful trade or a "diplomatic victory".
In fact, you are misinformed, read about the Minsk Agreement in 2014, and what Ukraine did to the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic when they rejected the new president of Ukraine (Oleksandr Turchynov). Spoiler: They decided to bomb and kill civilians in the aforementioned republics. Also, NATO secretly armed Ukraine with its weapons in order to regain control of the above-mentioned areas in the future and start a war with Russia with the support of the United States and NATO
P.S Ukraine has been killing civilians in its own region for literally 8 years because they refused to accept a new president after the coup
Found a way to change this myself: open the file "Wherever you installed civ6"\Base\Assets\Gameplay\ Data\Eras.xml Close to the top of the file you'll find the basic values for each Era, and each Era has a value called WarmongerPoints="XX" (where XX is a number). Tweak this as you see fit. A benefit from doing it like this instead of a mod is that your change will also affect a game in progress: no need to start a new one!
unfortunately this mod does not work. after 2-3 turns of a declaration of war the warmonger penalty hits the AI and can be seen in the relationship panel. I wonder if there is a way to make this work with the current version?
First ting I have to ask you is: Is everything working on other languages as it was in the past. When not? How can I help to translate if needed? My mother tongue is german.
Second thing is more a suggestion: If I see history fights, I think nobody asks about a war that is thousands of kilometres away. Is there a possibility to go give warmongery penalties just to the civs around depending on the map size you choose.
I've never had a more war-filled game than the first game I played using this mod. One second you have a declaration of friendship with someone and neutral to a few others, the next moment all 3 declare was in the same turn. Anomaly or bug?
Really hope you complete the balanced version you're working on soon. It's exactly what I've been looking for, the warmonger penalties are ridiculous. I'd use the no warmonger file for now, but I know I'd just abuse it and kill anyone that pisses me off, I need a little check to my inner bloodthirsty tyrant.
In fact, I want something like this mod so badly, I would fresh install an unpatched version of the game just to use it if the new patch is a problem, not like the patch did all that much for the game.
Thanks for the mod. I can't really enjoy Civ5 or Civ6 without tweaking the WM and production penalties. I don't think your mod is working after the latest patch though.
