Latest version gives me a long loop (3+ minutes) at the floating petals screen with intro skip turned on, turning intro skip off solves it but then obviously have to sit through the intros
1. You can use the No Intro Mod here on Nexus instead, which includes a .bat file to automatically delete the problematic cache every time you start the game. 2. You can keep using ClairObscurFix's No Intro option and manually edit the cache files (only have to do this once). Instructions to do so are on this Github post: https://github.com/Lyall/ClairObscurFix/issues/11#issuecomment-2843485844
The author of ClairObscurFix should probably sticky such information on the mods main page or here in discussions, as it's a commonly asked question on how to fix this issue.
I'm having frame drop issues with this mod on version 0.09 and 0.0.10, my game will launch in like 70ish fps and dramatically lose frames over the course of 5min until im down to a stuttery and unstable 20-40fps. I even tested this by going back to version 0.0.7 and it is by far the most stable framerate with 80+ except I get the cutscene crashes due to the new game's patch. Whatever changed between 0.0.7 and now has caused this mod to be unusable for me. Any ideas?
I do get a frame drop but I didn't know it was because of this mod! Will try to revert to 0.0.7 hopefully itll be fixed. Glad I never turn on my steam auto update lol

Can anyone tell me why they chose this optimization mod over any of the dozens of others? I've never seen so many optimization mods for a game and don't understand why there are so many different ones.
I'm trying to decide between this one, Optimax Performance - Stutter FPS Latency Fix Ultra Plus for Clair Obscur Expedition 33- Improved Graphics and Performance Optimized Tweaks COE33 - Reduced Stutter Improved Performance Lower Latency Better Frametimes Ultimate Engine Tweaks (Anti-Stutters - More Performance - Lower Latency - Better Clarity - Lossless) Expedition 33 - Unreal Config
and that's after filtering out all the others that haven't been updated in the last week.
I'm curious how other people decided. My head is spinning looking at these different mods. It seems like Unreal Config is a GUI for editing the config files that some of the other mods have edited and a lot of the other mods are offering a bunch of preset configs, but is there any better method or system for deciding than just downloading and trying them all individually?
Optimax gave me a small fps boost ( about 3-4) over Ultimate Engine Tweaks, and more importantly fixed a lighting flickering/shimmering problem I was having. I haven't tested any of the others yet.
I need an option to disable the part where it changes the timer resolution. I use a specific timer resolution so that the delta and deviation are smaller. This forces .500 timer resolution. I use .510 timer resolution. Though once this game is loaded I am unable to change it even after game is started.
Is there an option to have the most recent release "WITHOUT" the changes to timer resolution?
A temporary fix (Until the mod author fixes the issue) to crashes during cutscenes in the Gamepass/Xbox version of the game is to disable the fixes related to cutscenes. Open the "ClairObscurFix.ini" and change these values:
[Cutscene Letterboxing] ; Set "Enabled" to true to re-enable pillarboxing/letterboxing in cutscenes. Enabled = true
[Fix FOV] ; Fixes cropped FOV during certain scenes at ultrawide resolutions. Enabled = false
[Fix Movies] ; Crops letterboxing from pre-rendered movies at ultrawide resolutions. Enabled = false
I don't personally use an ultrawide, so I disabled everything related to them in the config file. But my guess is that really only "Cutscene Letterboxing" needs to be disabled.

Framagit (French non-profit) using GitLab or
Codeberg (German non-profit) using Forgejo
It's harder in both France and Germany to get an account suspended without a court ruling. Not impossible, but harder.
Thank you for your work.

I'm not 100% sure but I think this mod causes my game to crash a lot.
stick back to v0.0.9
