I tried figuring it out but i cant seem to get it right does someone have a vid that they can show me on how to do this cause I am fairly new to all this.
What I did and it worked for me: In the GamePass C saves folder: / user / username / appdata / local / packages / KeplerInteractive.Expedition33....../ SystemAppData / wgs / lot of numbers / sorts in order of modification and enters the folder of the last bran. Then search for a file of approximately the same size as the downloaded file. Now rename the .sav (included by removing the .sav) with the long name of your file. Copy the modified file into your saves folder by overwriting your file. Enter the game normally giving to continue and within the game press back for the menu, load previous game, and you should be listed.
Just replying here to add, once you're in the correct folder sit the downloaded save on your desktop, copy the save name from in the save folder and rename the downloaded save. You then drag the downloaded save, now renamed and overwrite. I was only copying the name and removing the original save, It could be some others are too.
Anyone got a dummy proof explanation for steam because I just can't seem to get it to work. I made sure to turn off cloud saves and even made a dummy save to replace it with. Doesn't matter if I delete the expedition1 save and replace it with this one or just save over it and replace it that way. One weird thing is even if I just delete the expedition1 save from the folder it still shows up when I load the game up. So I have no clue where else it might be saving or if I am just missing something super goofy.

Appreciate the reply and it ended up being a goofy thing for me as well. I didn't realize the saved game would look the same the next time you loaded up the game. So when I saw the dummy save I made still labeled as just that I didn't even bother loading it up. So I was doing it right the whole time, just too dumb to bother loading up the mislabeled save that was indeed the downloaded one.
the save is wonky . only gustav show up and does battle, i can switch to others but only them and gustav show up and only GUSTAV BATTLES. ANYONE ELSE NOTICE THIS

Jumpnm i figured it out
I get saves from this site all the time and really have no issues so turning off cloud saving and this stuff in general is brand new to me, just can't get this one to work for the life of me. Would greatly appreciate any input or tips
