Game looks great with this but it doesn't seem to work with the cutscenes? Not sure what its called but there is a "bloom/pollution" effect in dark scenes around objects that emit light.
Thanks, I'll give it a try. I also use kde plasma so it should work. I hope one day they find a way to implement HDR in games without the use of gamescope because it causes a lot of other issues I find.
I was using game mode with HDR turned on my pc and noticed the dark scenes are extremely dark. Using it with game mode turned off is much better for some reason
Fantastic mod! The whites aren’t blown out now. Certain scenes are totally transformed. When combined with Lyall’s mod + DLSS 4 + Low post processing the game looks like I expected. Thanks mayne!
I have the steam version and i do not have this issue. I heard you need to install Reshade differently on the gamepass version compared to the steam one. Check out JDSP on youtube, he put out a video on how to properly install it for the Gamepass version.
Are you using the hotfix drivers that came out a few days ago? They helped with a ton of issues in this game for me, the biggest being rooms being way too dark but also flickering.
First of all thank you for this mod it makes a big difference, i was using RTX HDR and it was blowing out the whites. Secondly is there a way to make this work with Puredarks framegen mod? using both together gives a black screen.
What are you guys using for in game gamma/contrast/brightness settings? Should I leave them all at 1 and leave RenoDX's settings alone (except for brightness settings)?

Thanks
1 - Install RenoDx first
2 - Install Puredark build 02 mod.
3 - Make sure you overwrite dxgi.dll
gamescope -w 3840 -h 2160 --hdr-enabled --fullscreen -- gamemoderun MANGOHUD=1 WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dsound,dxgi=n,b" %command%
I also have HDR enabled in KDE Plasma (wayland).

Can't make this work. New to ReShade. Mod wont show up as an add-on.
