Steam users: I do not have the Steam version, so I am not able to personally test whether the savegames are compatible with the EGS version. Please use with caution.
The savegame editor will warn you if there are parsing errors when loading a save. If the save editor can successfully read your savegame file, it is likely that it will be able to write to it, as the editor is designed to be non-destructive and will modify only the areas of the savegame that you have modified in the editor.
Does this work with the new march update? I was trying to use the 100% save game for unlocking only outfits as ive done before but its not working on the latest version it seems.
This works GREAT for modifying existing items but is there a way to add items? Like some crafting resources that I don't have but would like so I can upgrade my weapons/mods.
I've tried using the dev menu mod but it gets stuck navigating through the menus so I can't actually add/change any inventory items with that mod. Any help would be great, thanks again and keep up the great work!
Any way to use this to teleport to other control points? I'm stuck in parapsychology after for some reason a mission was generated there, and when I fast traveled there I can't go to any other control points as the control point is all red like it wasn't cleansed and all exits are locked. Help please.
The editor creates a .chunk file. The files in the save game are not .chunk though so when I rename it and drop it in the game dosn't recognize it, just creates a new 00_persistant save at the same point as the deleted one .
I had no trouble with this. Rename the file without any file type extention. I.e. "00_persistant" not "00_persistant.chunk". Windows will pop up a warning/confirmation about changing the file type. Just rename it anyway. I reckon you left the extension on & thats what screwed you up.
Windows might not be displaying the file extentions too, which can make it harder to rename the file properly. The windows default setting is to hide the file extentions, which is both annoying & insecure. But you can change that setting, just google "windows how to show file extentions".
Then make sure your new save file name matches the old save file name exactly. If you drop the new one in & get a windows message about identical file names you have succeeded, just select to replace the older file with the new one.
What collectibles are you missing, sealedarms? Don't currently have plans to make a UI for editing collectibles as that's probably a pretty niche use-case, but I can probably write a script for both of you to add your missing collectibles to your savegames.

I had my save file get corrupted right before "The Third Thing" in AWE and had to revert to someone's save file before AWE and import all my inventory, powers, etc. but I can't import my collectibles.
I really don't want to go recollect what is gonna add up to like 60+ documents.
In an attempt to rescue a corrupted save file, I have received the error message "We could not restore your save campaign progress". I don't know what to do and might completely restart the game from scratch, but it will not save anything for me and every time I exit the game, I have to start a New Game every time. I'm using the Steam version without Cloud Saves
Doesn't work locally using Vortex. Downloading creates "index.html.vortex_lnk" instead of "index.html" and there's no way to open it. Double clicking just opens Vortex, and you can't just edit the extension, it takes you to a blank webpage.
Upon using the save editor to simply add a few more damage mods of a type that I already had, upon replacing the persistent and reloading the game, I suddenly had nearly all my weapon mods now missing form my inventory, however when I placed the persistent back into the save editor to try and see what happens, all the weapon mods still showed up there, simply not in game.
