I don't know if you are still checking this mod but for the Italian language version it doesn't seem to work but if I change the language of the game yes. could you check?
Apologies, but the mod only currently works with the English language setting by design.
Annoyingly the remaster uses a separate set of identical NPC audio files for each language (despite no English being spoken) and the current modding tools are temperamental and easily corrupt projects (particularly when dealing with large volumes of audio files at once as this mod does), so for my own sanity I opted to stick to just the English files for now.
I'll revisit the mod in the future for other language settings when Alchemist becomes more stable, but in the meantime switching to English audio is the only current way to use the mod.
The only problem with this mod is that Ripper Roo's sound doesn't have any variation, he makes the same laugh from beginning to end and at the end he doesn't express any reaction, (okay, just like in the original) but I believe that it was due to the technical limitations of the time, having to add multiple audio tracks for each hit received could be a problem, in view of the limited hardware of the time, but this mod in question, which does not have these limitations, you could bring both tracks , a hybrid between the remastered version and the original version, the voices are similar, it would be really cool to have the original laugh in this mod, but without removing the other tracks that complement each other and enrich the character even more. You could consider doing it, anyway, thanks for the initiative!
