This lut in v2 is one of the best overall, congrats! It gives visuals a more blueish tint especially at night, which look very nice. Rainy nights look amazing. But it still could use some adjustments and more fine tuning.

The major issue with this LUT is that it also highly increases contrast between black and white levels, making nights and non-illuminated indoor areas too dark, and making sunny weather days too bright especially between 10am - 4pm. Bloom effects become too excessive in sunny daylight. Red lights at night also become too bright and with too much bloom, which even ends up causing shimmering and artifacts in the interiors of some cars that use interior red lighting like the Alvarado. Many billboards and adverts, either during daylight or at night, also become so bright that they're hard to discern.

Overall I'd say the excess bloom is the major issue. If the author could work on the mod reducing the contrast between dark and light a bit or at least just reduce the amount of bloom, would be a great improvement. My guess is that 50% halfway of what they are currently in v2 compared to the vanilla game, would probably be the sweet spot.

If that makes any difference, I play the game without RT or HDR, on a carefully calibrated 1080p monitor.

This mod looks great in VR, however, I am having white blooming at the bottom of the lenses while moving back, happens mostly in dark interiors.  Also, is the rain modded or original?

I can't comment on this as I don't own a VR. But I think it's due to the "eye adaptation" of the game, brightness, exposure and so on.

Great lut would be very cool to adjust the brightness especially at daylight. For ex. every photomode I need to tweak minimum 20-30 brightness down and contrast 10-20 up. (4k 240hz Monitor) so I was wondering why cp2077 dont have this at the settings. Gamma is for cdpr anus. And the moonlight at night is way to bright so the night 0-3am default weather are pretty bad 😅 this lut is the first step for a better game. Thank you boss

I will edit the original lut a little bit, and make sure that it is less outshining. Brightness, contrast and exposure. imd then I will upload it as a mod on Nexus. I will leave the colours and saturation untouched. :)

I like the idea, but I think it's not quite tuned right. Fire looks almost magenta, and the deep swaths of green feel as much The Matrix as they do Blade Runner

The reshade preset Cyber Runner gets the look perfect imo if only it was a LUT

There will be a second version, the first version should be more dystopian. The second will be more like the Cyber Runner Lut.  :)

      I will try it :)

EDIT: V2 is interesting. I happened to be outdoors when it is sunny, which becomes very bright, saturated blue and orange with this LUT. I will need to decide if i like this change.

I think you got the colors right on v2, just the right amount of blue. But the luma curve goes too bright for my tastes.

I associate these 80 films with having zero true whites in them, especially blade runner where the brightest white is basically a grayish pink.

Check out this film scan video from the final scene. You can see how subdued the bright values are... I really love the dismal look. I am going to keep trying to reproduce this if I can... it's hard to predict how results will turn up in game.

I could bleach the white a little, and colour it slightly pink like in the film. But during the day, the sun and the sky would have a pink tinge, and the clouds would also be slightly pink, which would not be realistic. Washing out would also make some details disappear, for example the sand. Then it would only be a smooth surface that looks washed out. You have to find a middle point so that it looks good at night as well as during the day. Blade Runner always takes place at night, I had to make it look good during the day as well.  (Sorry for my english, i use  the translator) :)

I like what you've done with this, but I was curious if it was at all possible to somehow combine it with this? I tried to, but from what I read in the posts on there, the mod author said: "My mod doesn't edit any LUTs but the parameter for the LUT is in the same file for the weather transitions so every other mod that edits the file would completely override it."
I know maybe it wouldn't be plausible, I'm just thinking about the potential here, along with the Proxima Blade Runner textures mod to get the whole Blade Runner look/experience in game. Thoughts on the possibility of being able to mix the two?

I have opened the weather mod and it does not change luts. It loads the vanilla luts of the game. Means the weather mod works with my luts. ^^

Thanks! I'll try it again. The weather was suspiciously clear (it's normally very rainy and cloudy), so might have just been the roll of the dice and very coincidental timing.

Wow this is fairly confusing, I didn't know that versions of blade runner are green tint and some not. I thought blade runner 1 had a green tint I'll have to check the version I have which I think is DC. I already have vanilla plus no green tint which looks like the BR1 DC, more of a blueish/black tint to it, batman dark knight movie type of thing, police blues.

I stuck to the original non-green colored film for the v2 Lut.

It's weird because those of us of a certain age likely saw BR1 with the green tint back in the day so remember it with one, but since then have got the DC and forgot the difference, strange. I don't dislike the green tint but it kind of blows the darks out too much whereas no green tint has darker darks, feels clearer better for FHD clear sharp then artificial filters used in CRT/VHS 35mm film times. Back in 1.60 I got the vanilla plus NGT LUT and wow it was such a difference at night, darks darker, always have it now but thanks for your versions.

I'd ask about vignette removal as well, I have to use Vanilla Plus NGT LUt for green tint removal AND then Vanilla ENV Lighting 2 AIO to get rid of vignette globally, FX begone doesn't get rid of vignette for me. But ENV lighting 2 AIO edits the weather as well which prevents rain most of the time, conflicts with the rain weather mods.

Sounds good, a lut with no green tint and no global vignette, that doesn't mess with weather sounds great. I've pretty much given up on the mostly rain mods out there, tried the enhanced weather blade runner version supposed to be mostly rain and doesn't seem to work idk maybe need to visit the blade runner easter egg loc. Can't use weathermancer bc no 2.01 just 2.0. It needs the new codeware that adds weather control which is only 2.01 compatible. Once I figure out weather bugs I'm good to go, better then my mastered 1.60 perfect version.

I took the AIO mod apart and only took out the vignette that was switched off. If it removes the green ink, it will change my mod and I don't want it to. ^^

Someone needs to make a Johnny Mnemonic Lut or Reshade like this one.  Which is the True Inspiration for Cyberpunk 2077

Johnny Mnemonic is based on "Neuromancer," just like "The Matrix." Cyberpunk is based on the "Cyberpunk" universe by Mike Pondsmith. Mike Pondsmith's love for the cyberpunk genre was sparked by the movie "Blade Runner". His "Cyberpunk" universe was heavily influenced by "Blade Runner" and anime/manga.
