The mod will work best when starting a new game, but it is also safe to install it mid-playthrough. For the journal entries to activate you must not yet have completed their relevant quests. So, for instance, to obtain Big Pete entry, you must not have yet completed "Gig: Big Pete's Got Big Problems" job.
This mod is for 2.2 version only and will require an update when the next official patch is released.
This mod edits "cooked_journal.journal" file and is incompatible with other mods editing the same file. Currently it is known it's incompatible with Phone Messages OVERHAUL (not a big deal as this mod was never updated to 2.1 version).
I´m missing the journal entry for the Midnight Arms MA70 HB LMG - I don´t know it it´s a bug or somehow hard to obtain (other than acquiring the weapon?), but could you add it to your list of fixes perhaps?
I will take a look when I get the chance. I don't remember from the top of my head about this one, but sometimes it requires you to obtain certain tier of the weapon for it to qualify for the journal entry.
So far the highest tier I've found is Epic... Any chance you could take a look at the grenades as well - I've only got the entry for the smoke grenade? If thats the only grenade type with an entry, I'd rather it was hidden (for consistency).
I fixed it, but you have to start a new game for it to work as I fixed it natively by adding it to the existing functions that control the guns and if you loaded the mod in already started playthrough that function already runs and won't check for new additions.
Hi, I've corrected the czech localization file of the entries you've written yourself or I guess copied from the Wiki, but there is significantly less available than you show in the screenshots, does it mean these are officially translated in the game files and you've only made them available? Because those which were in the localization file definitely were translated by google translate or similar program. How do you find what can be accessed or need to be fixed because I have seen couple of things during my playthroughs I would like to fix myself because CDPR unfortunately wont bother with fixing the localizations I'm afraid? Can I send you the updated cz-cz.json?
Yes, in the localization files are only the entries, where I had to make text myself (either writing stuff myself and then translating with Google Translate or finding bits in Wiki, in which case I also translated stuff with Google to other languages). The remaining entries you don't see in localization file are present in game files and are made by CDPR, and they should be translated already properly in all languages. In these cases, all I needed to do was to create and activate the journal entries. Yes, you can send me the updated file, tjank you.
