Unpacked files and manually put .archive file with color option I want into Cyberpunk 2077/archive/pc/mod/ folder, but not the basegame_BaseMaterialOverride.archive. Material and Texture Override should be installed instead.
Decided to try it, hoping it wouldn't clip with my cyberarm/hand. It did, so I went ahead and removed it and the materials. Now, it won't disappear. Before I installed it, my port was invisible and my hand was clean. Now I have the port clipping through. :/
Sorry, but I got no clue what can caused this. This mod doesn't have any meshes, it only rewrites the path to materials, so new color could appear. The model of the wrist link already should be somewhere on your character, so you could see the results. And after deleting mod files, I assume, wrist link just start using the path to vanilla materials. Or modded ones, if there is another mod installed that changes them. I tried to test the scenario you described (deleting both volhitka_Materials_Set.archive and volhitka_WristLink_%Color%.archive ) with some additional cyberarms (Erebus Gorilla, Valentino Arms, Alt Arm Left Normal) since I don't know which one you are using, but for me there was no clipping (except Alt's have a tiny bit of wrist link showed, but it already was there), wrist link just returns to its original greyish color, that's all. Would be helpful if you provide more information, such as: What cyberarms did you use? Moded or vanilla? What's the mod that makes wrist link invisible? Have you tried reinstalling it? Did you use Material and Texture Override mod before? Did you also delete it? How exactly clipping looks like? What colors is the wrist link now, after you deleted the files? Have you tried loading saves that were created before you install this recolor? Is wrist link still clipping? I may be able to at least reproduce this clipping. Sorry I can't be of any help right now.
Not without remodeling all the left hands, I guess. I looked at the .mesh in Blender and if I try to remove the wrist link the hole in the hand appears. There is no skin behind the link, so make it at least transparent didn't work for me either. My "best" attempt also ended up with the hole in the wrist through which I could see the bright sky :D And I assume all this will lead to the mod become incompatible with other cyberarms mods and bodies.
Sorry to hear this. Could you please clarify exactly when the game crashes? On the Breaching screen? Which version of Material and Texture Override did you downloaded - Legacy or REDMod? I don't really know what may cause the crash in this mod. The material set is only adds some materials for the recolors to work. Without it your wrist link will be pink. And by itself this file does nothing. Also, before uploading the mod I, tested it with and without other mods. It works without any crashes. Tested it just now on a clean installed game and it works fine.
Hi. I definitely plan to add more colors, darker and lighter shades included. Just need more time, and I want to finish another thing first. But I should warn you that dark purple may not be exactly the same as the one on the head port due to differences in materials and lighting.
Good day choom) Thx for the mod You planned to recolor sets for ballistic coprocessor or gorilla arms like on you screen(and another hands cyberware) in future?
Good day to you too) For now, I'm trying to work on the weapon grip device recolors, not the whole ballistic coprocessor. Maybe in time I'll try to recolor the textures as well, but there are already some pretty nice color options exists, like Cyberware Recolour Collection. About cyberarms - it looks tempting, but I can't promise that. Maybe if I become more experienced in modding, I'm still a newbie ^^

This one is ErebusArms Corpo Mantis Blades.

RedMod
Newest Material and Texture Override
Though I'm hoping for all my Cyberware to be the same shade, but the collection mod's purple is a little too bright.
But I should warn you that dark purple may not be exactly the same as the one on the head port due to differences in materials and lighting.
But if it's like Cyberware colour tweaks where that purple is #FF66FF, then it contrasts a little too much.
Still, great work.
Sorry choomba!
Thx for the mod
