Changelogs
Version 1.00
First version
One of the things that I like less of the new perks (not many of them that I dislike, but this one somewhat annoys me) is that, once you buy the "dash" perk, you cannot dodge normally anymore. Heck, even moving around is sometimes quite the adventure if you are trying to move on a narrow platform, carefully to not activate the $%&! dash and dive to your death.
Or hey, you simply don't want to be so exaggerated in your combat and have both options, dodge and dash.
So, to palliate that, this script simulates that you don't have bought the perk for dash when you double-press the movement buttons, having then a dodge action with movement keys, and dash with the dedicated button. The best of both worlds!
TL;DR: Get again dodge (not dash) action with movement buttons; do dash (if bought) only with dedicated button.
It works with patch 2.0+ (2.1 confirmed).
You have permission to do everything you want with this script for your own mods.
To install: decompress file at the base game directory (for example, c:\GogGames\Cyberpunk 2077\), or drop the .reds file at Cyberpunk 2077\r6\scripts . To uninstall: delete the .reds file at Cyberpunk 2077\r6\scripts.
Since it does not affect savegames in any way, it's safe to install/uninstall at any time.
