It's strange, I deactivated reshade and only installed this LUT in the game Archive folder. All I have is a bland and bleached CP 2077 game. I still need to use reshade to "mimic" the effects of this LUT that unfortunately doesn't work.
A Lut cannot look equally good everywhere, there are areas where the Lut will look good and there are areas where it will not look so good. To really make it look the same everywhere, you would need a level editor with which you can adapt the lighting conditions to the Lut everywhere in the game. Some textures and materials would also have to be adapted, then it would look equally good everywhere.
I was asking ItsVjustV because a lot of reshade presets will use some kind of tonemapping or contrast adjustment when in my view they should just adjust the gamma rather than eat more fps with reshades. ItsVjustV may not know about this setting. I have mine at 1.08 with UPGRADE and Enhanced Weather.
Hello, actually I may have had some file conflicts. I reinstalled the game 3 times after the new update and now eveyrthing is dandy. Works perfectly even with additionnal reshade effects. Thank you!
This over top of Natural California Lighting (for weather) is pretty peak. I'm changing my recommendation to Enhanced Weather v5 either by itself or with NCLM compatibility. I also strongly recommend Yet Another Hud Recolor with this.
Fantastic. You should check out this negatives and prints suite for ReShade called "FILMDECK". It gives you a bunch of FujiFilm, Kodak and other "LUTs" and they all look fantastic, especially in Cyberpunk 2077, given they're majority vintage film. You get options like 16mm, Super 35, 35mm Full Scale. And you can apply both a negative and a print at the same time, or bypass one or the other. It's really well done. But I guess you're gifted at generally creating LUTs, so you could probably make any of these from scratch. I think it'd be sick to see some of these made into LUTs that can be installed to the game without needing ReShade. I could send you the full version (the free version doesn't have all of the LUTs).
Since I learned how to edit Cyberpunk 2077, I no longer use Reshade. Reshade is good, no question. But it doesn't reach the quality of the Luts and the tonemapping of RedEngine. Thanks anyway. :)
It's insane how much of a difference this makes to the game. I could not find a LUT that gave a perfect blend of that dark vibe while still keeping the reds looking right and this one does it for me. Thanks so much for creating it.
