I decided to remove the recolors for the Gorilla Arms. However for the Arasaka Red recolor that was shown in the trailer on 2020 you can download this mod that also changes the icon of the Gorilla Arms. LINK

Do the alternate arm textures (like Lucid Black or whatnot) work with the updated core mod? Or no?

The core mod is separate from the colors of the arms. But I have to look into the recolors if they had broke with the Update 2.0.

The recolors are NOT broken. At least the black one isn't. I wasn't using the systems change, only the recolor, and the Black arms are showing up perfectly with the Electrified Gorilla arms. They even have the crackly Electric special effect on them.

The only odd thing was when i first installed the arms (i had the mod installed before i bought arms, new 2.0 game) my face textures were weird. But save / quit / load fixed that.

btw - if you're not planning on keeping up with the recolors, would you mind pointing me where to get started with how to make texture mods for CP77? I've done some texture and mesh work in FO4 and Starfield but never worked with REDEngine and not sure where to begin. I'd like to take a crack at making some of my own recolors. Thanks!

Sorry for the late response, when I made this mod I didn't retextured, I reimplemented some colors that were already in the game, but used by NPC only and not the player. I remember I was using 010, that is an Hex Editor, and back then was present a template in the modding scene that allowed us to decipher hexadecimal code and edit these files. If you want to get into it you can enter in the Modding Discord server, there are a lot of guides and tools there. Discord

I am back in the modding scene of this game. I'm currently working on a full on Cyberpsychosis system implemented for V. Inspired on the TTRPG rules and the Edgerunner series on Netflix. I have not tested this mod and if it is working with the current patch of CET and 1.6, but I'll test it soon.

Update: The Cyberpsychosis Mod will be made by DJ_Kovrik and will come out very soon!

Added a requested feature to the mod! The ability to open doors and rip turrets while using Gorilla Arms without worrying about Body skillchecks. The addon requires CET 1.9.2 and you can use it with any Gorilla Arms.

EDIT: Thanks to the help of Captain12 now the mod no longer requires hotkeys to be used and the stats will no longer be bugged. The mod to work requires CET 1.16.0+

Can the add on work without the other Gorilla Arm recolors? I installed only the add on to bypass skill checks but it isn't working, can't open doors, cargo containers, or rip off turrets. I have the latest version of CET.

Can you make an option to have gorilla arms look like normal arms and hands?

But it says in this mod description that this...

Mod is NOT compatible with mods that replace the players Gorilla or "Strong" arms with something else.

...that's why i ask the author to make such an option, because if it was compatible with other mods then i would use the mod Gorilla Nails and this mod together (ErebusArms the "flesh" version still don't look like ordinary arms and hands).

Hi! I have them working together (Gorilla Nails and Gorilla Arms Restored Features 2.0.4 (Patch 1.3)+Addon - Gorilla Arms without Wires and Knuckles (Male and Female) 1.0.5)
Addon - Gorilla Arms without Wires and Knuckles (Male and Female) 1.0.5 --- basegame_noknuckles\archive\pc\patch
the archive does not have the correct folder "patch", change to "mod"
Sorry, English is not my language

Hmm...did test it before game version 1.30 and it did not work, i could not open any locked doors.
Why do you use "Addon - Gorilla Arms without Wires and Knuckles (Male and Female)" when you use "GorillaNails"?, both those mods only alters the look of gorilla arms.

I haven't tried it on the doors. I tore off the turrets. "Addon - Gorilla Arms without Wires and Knuckles (Male and Female)" - Indeed, I did not use it in 1.23, but for 1.3 I installed it for some reason. I removed it, thank you))

What a strange feeling.. A "small indie-company" couldn't make this, and some simple man did it... Nothing to say, but THANK YOU.

Does anyone have the pre-2.0 file with the recolors? I don't want the mechanics change, i just want the black arms - i don't know why the author thought there were better ones. There are not :(. This one worked perfectly, looked great, and kept the special effects (like electric crackles) for the different types.

But i'm on a new PC now and i don't seem to have the pre-2.0 file any more :(

not working with 2.2.1, or at least the forcing door open/ripping off turrets part isn't. I know there has not been any activity with this mod, but are there any plans to update?

The mod is up to date and working, your issue is most likely elsewhere.

So what does this do exactly? Does it remove the added body attribute points Gorilla Arms usually do and instead they just allow you to clear body checks for turrets and doors regardless of your stats?

Not sure this mod does anything in 2.2.
BODY check for doors isn't automatically passed, and any time  you go through forced door opening animation that opens up the gorillas, they're left stuck that way forever (until you hit 4 to bring up the fist and use defensive attack - attack from blocking - that closes them back).. That bug never goes away for me no matter what I try. Any time that door opening animation plays which opens up the arms, they get stuck open. Whether I have this mod installed or not. Whether I have any mod affecting gorilla arm looks or not. Makes me not want to play with them. Or just slap on Arasaka Cyberarms to disable that animation completely..

Getting a visual glitch and even your screen shot kind of captures it. The fore arms are not displaying right after ripping open a door. Go hack a terminal after ripping a door and you will see it even worse with shrunken fore arms.

Dumb question and/or wrong place to ask but does this affect animations when opening doors? I'm using modded clothing and the door-opening animation where the arms expand clips through the sleeves. The mod that auto-rolls sleeves doesn't work for me because the clothing only has one model, with the sleeves always down. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The mod uses the same animations used in vanilla to forcefully open doors. As for your problem, I couldn't do much, you should probably ask to the mod author of your clothing if he could do a variation of the clothes with the sleeves rolled up.
