With version. 2.2 of the game, you can activate the siren and flashing lights by pressing the Headlights button, without any Mods installed It will turn off when you get out of the vehicle

You could simply turn radio volume to 0 in the settings this is what i do as I don't listen to radio.
I can tell that police motorbikes are not configured like police cars concerning the radio behavior. I think police bikes behave like regular bikes concerning the radio.
Also I have installed Audioware + EPLS_Police_Siren_As_Horn, but double tapping the lights key still only switch between siren on and siren off. Triple tapping gives the special sound, but only once.
My horn never changes to a different type. I was hoping triple tap would permanently change my horn to the special sound.
Tried activating the siren doesn't work. Double tapping only (de)activates the lights. Disabled the crown vic mod to see if it would fix it. (didnt fix)
Do you think it would be possible to alter flash pattern or speed? Also i noticed that both the SUV and older cruiser have a pillar spotlight that comes on with the red and blue lights, (like they have in america) it's activated with the same button press even as the extra white utility lights some cars have, is there a way to seperate the flashing lights from the pillar spotlight or is it connected to the red and blue lights?
I'm just hoping for more NCPD customisations, or police stuff, I know this isn't like GTA V with its modded flash patterns and modded cars but it would be cool to see more lore stuff for the cops, I've only seen a crown vic with police lights so far added by modders.
I mean it's cool we got seperate SoCal border patrol cars and sheriff cars in the stock game which I didn't expect, or even the three phantom liberty cop cars.
This is because police lights are using the same light logical type as neon rims and spot lights. You can see this because you toggle all these lights with the same control. It is possible for a mod to separate these lights but this is out of the scope of this mod.
I don't see what could it be everything i have installed is working with no problems and i don't have any mods that change lights but as soon as i install this the game randomly crashes for no apparent reason
Did you ever installed ModSettings before using this mod ? I am experiencing crash problems and ModSettings dependency could be a reason for some of them.
I am planning to remove it from my mods and replace it with NativeSettingsUI.

Update: Second try of Legacy v2.11 - Enhanced Police Lights System this time by clean manual installation, mod is now working fine like the REDmod version. [Solved] Hi I had installed Legacy v2.11 - Enhanced Police Lights System via Vortex, folders and file are in correct path, all dependencies are latest version, on game v2.13. No redscript compilation error. Pressing the "V" key and the police lights are not working or cycling, tested on the NCPD vehicles Overlord and Enforcer.
Tried the REDmod v2.11 - Enhanced Police Lights System by manual installation and it's working. Tested on some NCPD vehicles like Overlord, Enforcer, Hellhound "Man o' War", and Scout bike. One interesting observation, if you break into some stationary NCPD vehicles like the Ironclad, it is not able to cycle the police lights. Thank you hgyi56 for making this immersive mod!

This is still a problem unfortunately. It breaks Auto On Neon Rims and Custom Colors
Also would it be possible to add an option that has the radio OFF by default? There is this other mod but it's outdated and not working.
By default the game does not allow police vehicles to turn off the radio

Horn should be E key and Square/X on PS gamepad.
