Nice and thanks for this! Just a head's up. The mod also changes the legendary aviators because they use the same model as Johnny's glasses. No biggie since I don't think any NPCs wear the legendary aviators anyways.
Ah.. that also means most mods that use that slot will mess up those glasses too lol. still seem to be the only good option until we can add our own though.
I don't believe this is compatible with the third person mod yet...I don't believe glasses or hats are supported. It just makes the head invisible currently.
Did I do something wrong? It doesn't work for me. I added the .archive file to my archive\pc\patch folder and spawned in Game.AddToInventory("Items.Glasses_01_basic_02",1). Weirdly enough, the description says it replaces Johnny's glasses but the console command spawned in 'Elegant Sepia Vision Aviators' instead. I tried wearing Johnny's Aviators too but it doesn't work as well.
Did you put it in the patch folder? Also, anything else that uses the same glasses as a replacement might override it (another mod that uses Johnny's glasses file for example).
Is there anything wrong with the head mesh/glasses? Because in my case the glasses "float" above and over the nose and a but too far away from the face... as cool as these are, I couldn't fix this issue. Anyone else had this?
Nice, finally some normal glasses with less color tint! Thanks! Do you know if it might be possible to use some of the regular glasses random NPCs use for our characters in the future?
It always has been for the most part. The reason we use all of Johnny's clothes is because whatever you change will be applied to everything that uses it. Only You use Johnny's clothing so it let's you be the only one to use the item. So for example if I changed normal glasses it would make every npc with normal glasses use this too. That's what we are trying to avoid.
