RT and PT are a MUST to get the game look like the screenshots? especially the Panam one. It looks sharp and clear cut and high res! I have been doing all I can to get my game look remotely as any of these screenshots from all of the visual mods but I just cant get it to work! I am running the game on a 1080TI GPU.
Btw, what is the reshade you are using? Those screenshots look SICK!

No wonder that you not getting the same look. Because these Screenshots were made with a 4090 RTX with Pathtracing and all Details on the highest settings.
For reshade i recommend using the clarity-Shader and a sharpening-shader of your choice. For Sharpening i use AdaptiveSharp.

Yeah well, the 1080TI can handle even the psycho graphic settings on 3440x1440 but well the color grading and definition of the LUT mods are not there and I wanted to make sure it is cuz of RT and PT not being part of GTX. The problem I am having apart from color grading and that crisp reflection and shadow resolution is that when I use any LUT mod and I mean any (dreampunk, AGX, Edge, or even yours) I cant get the brightness and gamma set. It is either too dark at night or in dark locations or too bright during the day or in well-lit places. Increasing the gamma or brightness only makes it look washed out. Even your Lucid one has that problem. How can I fix this issue? I really can't seem to find any way to make the day look bright but not washed out and night/dark places not to be pitch black.
P.S. Do you have a decent reshade preset in mind?

I cant give you an exact reshade setting, but maybe a hint to a solution. Try using the "Hightlight_Midtone_Shadow"-shader by prod80. There you can adjust brightness of dark and lit areas seperately.

I have been using the LUT switcher by theCyanideX and I went through all the lut presets and the one that actually works on a GTX is Edge LUT 2 (from the in game switcher LUT list) but it makes the game super bright.

I can get it to the level I like by maxing the in-game Gamma (video options setting it to max 2) and some minor adjustments to Nvidia control panel but it only fixes the Night-time/Dark areas and makes Daytime and well-lit areas TOO bright and very washed out!

is it possible to edit the LUT file myself manually? You said that the reshade option would let me change the brightness-contrast-gamma Separately for day and night. Will that also work for what I am trying to do? (I have the night gamma/brightness/constant on a decent level but can't do the same for daytime) if I touch anything it will mess up the night-time or the other way around.

Is what I am trying to do even possible?

I get the night/dark areas near perfect but daytime and well-lit areas (especially daytime) are too bright and washed out! (this is the part I am trying to fix, I really really am! too bright and washed out daytime when night/dark looks good, if I touch anything during daytime I ruin the night time/dark area part)

      Screenshot of Daytime:
      https://prnt.sc/wcMcBOxzA7JV
      Nighttime - Indoor
      https://prnt.sc/CKJDp066UZL0

P.S. How can adjust day and night gamma, contrast, and brightness separately by the shader you mentioned above?

The pictures looking the same to me.
The shader i mentioned is changes shadows and highlights and not day -or nighttime.
Because i dont have your setup, i cant imitate your problem. Just try it out, doesnt take much time.

Thanks and I did test a few things and I know it was not meant to change day or night lol I mean the brightness/contrast individually for night and day. It seems no matter what I do the Pathtracing is the key here...

Could you do an env to go along with this? A moodier pacNW weather would work because the saturation would be nice with some misty rainy type weather. I was using your noir weather env with nova but never really got rain or fog, it could have been a conflict though. Using the weather prob rebalance tweaked version no vignette more rain but it's always here and there, on 1.60 it would always be cloudy, raining or misty etc doesn't seem to work too well on 2.0+ imo

I'm done with cyberpunk-modding at the moment. If you want moodier weather i recommend GONKweather (https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/12728).

    Hi all,

The LUT files I have seen are great, and this one is, too.

I am trying to figure out how to make one.

I have made a CUBE file and installed WolvenKit along with other requirements.

However,  I don't know how to convert the CUBE into an ARCHIVE file, that's if that is the correct procedure.

If anyone would care to give essential step-by-step advice, it would be very much appreciated.

    Kind regards

This is a really amazing LUT to use as a base for some of the ENV add-ons. I got almost all the light/dark issues worked out.
I'm still having a little issue with brightness and a little over-saturation. I adjusted a bunch of my Nvidia settings and in game settings.
With my gamma at 1.05 I am getting a pretty good light/dark balance. The shadows are a lot more defined and brighter running that combination.

I am on an SDR on my laptop, with an HDR streaming monitor. On my SDR it is really nice, makes it as close to HDR as I can get.
On my HDR it just becomes another whole level of amazing. I was getting pretty much the same performance with Nova Pure 2.2 + 2.0 ENV.
The only problem I had was the overall brightness. With Lucid + Nova 2.0 ENV I got something I can run even on the laptop.
It is the one I actually use for QA testing as my base settings rig. It's our minimal hardware setup when I do QA burning, so this got a full engineer level test.

The way I am running it now looks really amazing on a 3060 6gb. I am running a lower powered card, but I can push out some playable FPS, even at Ultra Psycho settings. The only way I've been able to keep a constant playable FPS is with a LUT and ENV helping fix the lighting.

Posted the video below after trying about 5 different LUT/ENV combinations.

I admit at direct sunlight my LUT is a little too bright. I'm struggling to find the perfect balance between highlights, midtones and shadows. If one part is fixed, another went bad and vice versa.
What i dont understand is your issue with over-saturation. Can you provide an example screenshot? Because your video looks quite good to me in terms of colors.

And thanks for your kind words.

I got it fixed. It's a light beam issue. Sosuine just put out a fix. I have almost all the saturation knocked out. It's my computer probably. There's only so far I can push the performance. I can deal with a little brightness issue. I am running as close to the performance limit as it gets.

Edit- I just posted a Vanilla RT Versus Lucid + Nova Pure ENV RT

You can see how much of a difference the light beam fix makes in-game. Both videos are using the same mods except for the LUT/ENV.

The LUT is almost perfect! The one issue I have with it is that it's too bright. I had to lower my monitor brightness and increase gamma correction just for me to not be blinded, other than that it's pretty good!

I don't have an hdr screen unfortunately but I've used these envs and luts together in this combo also. I like nova pure 2.2 lut w gits3 fuji env for darker darks but the opposite works well also, gits3 fuji lut w the nova pt env for darker darks.

My only problem is that both of those envs seem to destroy misty and fog during rain wish I could get them as they are just let game do the mist and fog which adds atmosphere to the game. I've got a pic up of just the gits3 fuji w no env or not a nova env anyways and you can see the misty fog during rainstorms, it's the "kisses" sign by the hospital.

So I tried this LUT with both NOVA and GITS FUJI env. I'm playing with HDR and PT. Lucid LUT color feels too vibrant for me,. Using reshade HDR Analysis tool, I'm seeing that this LUT utilizes more HDR color gamut than NOVA (which does not support HDR), but it doesn't utilize HDR gamut as much as GITS or Vanilla game.
Overall it looks great, dark areas is not so dark that I can't see anything but colors are too vibrant for my taste.

Thank you so much for this! I too had the same problem as you, it is no surprise though, as both mod authors for Nova and GITS have not made them fully compatible with HDR yet.
I have been trying multiple different combinations of LUT's, ENV's and tweaking nits/tonemap to varying results, but nothing looked quite right. This LUT came at a perfect time as well, as I am just wrapping up my modlist, this was the last issue I had to find a fix for. ^^

I'm glad to hear that. Have fun with it. Dont hesitate to report any other problems with my LUT. My concern is, although shadows are now brighter, that in certain situations the image turns out to bright altogether.

Will do. I did some limited tests to see how it looks in pitch black and also with light exposure. I will do a bit more testing later though, but from my initial tests in both day & night with sunny weather, the LUT fixing the pitch black did not really make the overall image any brighter than the other LUT's.
In fact, I also noticed lights were not overblown with your LUT, but they were with all the other LUT's and ENV's I tested. I found that I could also increase nits to make lights pop a bit more while still maintaining image clarity, something that I could not do with the others.
But to be fair, it'd be damn difficult to account for literally all scenes and conditions in the game regardless of who made LUT's and/or ENV's.
(Little side note, I am using your LUT with the Fuji ENV, but also with some other mods to tweak lights and fog specifically, which I did not use in all my tests of different LUT and ENV combinations, so that definitely has something to do with my results)

I actually think that the LUT on both mod looks ok. Its just that the ENV for GITS especially was centered with PT/ RT in mind, hence why the dark/pitch black color on certain areas. The minimum brightness shadow on the ENV should be lowered if you played on raster.

it would be great if you know how to do that.

I play with Pathtracing and have that problem.
I will not edit ENVs of other modders, its their own property.
